(The episode already aired in Canada on Friday June 10 and will now air in US on Tuesday June 14)

In some markets on June 13, 2022, a repeat episode of Y&R aired.
Episode #11879 from February 20, 2019
Nikki is in jail for the murder of JT Hellstrom.
She writes letters from her jail cell about her life, and there are flashbacks of young Nikki.
This was a standalone episode for Melody Thomas Scott's 40th anniversary.

The Wednesday June 15 hearing has been postponed to date/time TBA.

The Thursday June 16 hearing is still scheduled for 1:00 pm EDT.

I can't believe that Standalone episode was three years ago already!

On Thursday June 16 and Friday June 17, DAYS is already entirely preempted by PGA golf.

The golf tournament airs from 2pm - 5pm EDT on NBC broadcast TV.

The Thursday June 16 hearing starts at 1pm EDT.

I wonder if they will move the overlapping hour of the Thursday golf tournament over to Peacock streaming or ESPN or whatever

The golf will probably go to peacock on Thursday with GH and B&B preempted here on Thursday.

The following Tuesday and Thursday all but YR will be preempted here.

^ B&B and GH officially preempted Thursday June 16 in US.

 

Thursday June 16, Y&R aired its first half in the Eastern timezone in most cities (although a few isolated locations might air Y&R early in the moning, so they'd see the full episode).
It seems that the rest of US timezones were completely overridden by the hearing, and didn't air any part of Y&R.

Y&R hasn't made a statement *yet*.  The Y&R public relations staff tends to be slow on these things.
Presumably they'll eventually label it a preempted episode, and air the episode in fullness on Friday June 17.

The only soap that aired here today on Thursday the 16th was YR.
