Too bad CBS daytime lost the heat in the 80s.

The CBS soaps left haven't had heat in years/decades.

They should've brought back "On The Edge" promos because that's what most of CBS Daytime is now.

The only CBS daytime promo that sticks to mind was the "Gimme The Buzz" promos where the models were in neon clothes, wigs, and lipstick. Which CBS daytime promo was it where all the CBS daytime soaps kept using that one phrase over and over? It wasn't: "Over my dead body!" God, what was it??????

OH! I remember!  "Try Me!"

None of the soaps or the network probably warrant the return of the splashy promos of yesteryear, but i wouldn’t mind seeing a modern day “Try Me” from 1991-1992  Maybe even “don’t blink..don’t look away” because of the irony that, that’s all we do now when we watch! 🤣🤣

i guess with GH being the only soap left, ABC won’t be reviving “Love in the Afternoon” anytime soon.

Here's a "Gimmie The Buzz" Promo for GL. For some reason, it strangely reminds me of Pee-Wee's Playhouse and Saved by the Bell at the same time. Who's the guy who always did those promos? Was his name Clarence? I remember my hometown's radio station used to play his short Y&R recaps.

What about these promos?

I tried to find summer 1987 promos that featured "Addicted to Love" but no luck.

Those are good promos. I hadn't seen the Primetime soaps combined with the daytime ones.
