Members AbcNbc247
Now if only NBC would resurrect the “It Will Excite You” promo for Days Please register in order to view this content Edited June 8, 2022 by AbcNbc247
Members Soapsuds
Too bad CBS daytime lost the heat in the 80s. The CBS soaps left haven't had heat in years/decades. Edited June 8, 2022 by Soapsuds
Members Forever8
They should've brought back "On The Edge" promos because that's what most of CBS Daytime is now. Members Soapsuds
NBC should've used feel the heat with Will and Sonny but CBS has it now. Please register in order to view this content
Members Noel
The only CBS daytime promo that sticks to mind was the "Gimme The Buzz" promos where the models were in neon clothes, wigs, and lipstick. Which CBS daytime promo was it where all the CBS daytime soaps kept using that one phrase over and over? It wasn't: "Over my dead body!" God, what was it?????? OH! I remember! "Try Me!" Members YRfan23
None of the soaps or the network probably warrant the return of the splashy promos of yesteryear, but i wouldn’t mind seeing a modern day “Try Me” from 1991-1992 Maybe even “don’t blink..don’t look away” because of the irony that, that’s all we do now when we watch! Please register in order to view this content i guess with GH being the only soap left, ABC won’t be reviving “Love in the Afternoon” anytime soon. Members Noel
Here's a "Gimmie The Buzz" Promo for GL. For some reason, it strangely reminds me of Pee-Wee's Playhouse and Saved by the Bell at the same time. Who's the guy who always did those promos? Was his name Clarence? I remember my hometown's radio station used to play his short Y&R recaps. Please register in order to view this content
Members Planet Soap
My favorite CBS promos were "everything is everything", and "get in on", as well as the Clarance stuff from the late 80s.
Members kalbir
What about these promos? Please register in order to view this content I tried to find summer 1987 promos that featured "Addicted to Love" but no luck.
Members Soapsuds
Those are good promos. I hadn't seen the Primetime soaps combined with the daytime ones.
