But that “Next week on Y&R” preview is supposed to entice people to watch next week with some interesting glimpses of drama. The clips they chose couldn’t have been more random or mundane.

I don’t particularly like how GH does it during their end credits, which is often like a quick montage of non sequiturs, but at least they create some sense of interest and “Hmmm, what will happen next? Who’s Carly shouting at?”

Thank you!

This is hideous but at least they got a (minuscule) budget.

The lack of excitement in Y&R promos is indicative of the show, you'd think they'd at least TRY to make this dry show look enticing but they can't be bothered. It's baffling.

The Monday episode is airing in Canada now. I've seen a couple of one-minute clips on twitter.  So amazing.  So beautiful.  I can't stop crying.

I think they're going for the look of the type of 1970s discotheque where people used to get dressed up.

HILERUOUS day after the wedding episode cutting between ancient Jack and Phyllis getting it on, to Mariah and Tessa looking at pictures or opening presents or writing thank you notes or whatever tf they were doing (???) to Kyle and Summer getting it on, back to Mariah and Tessa looking like Golden Girls rejects and then away and back again to them being in the afterglow. An embarrassing MESS.

They really contrasted the gay newlyweds doing tasks with the straight people banging? I'm not surprised but how blatant can you be?

Never got into them, they always just seemed like rely good friends.  Never saw any romantic characters, also the writers wrote it that way to not agitate the older viewers perhaps.  It is CBS, and seniors love CBS.

The only one that semi-seemed 1970s, to me, was Allie's. But all of the sparkles the costume department has been pushing is so... dated to me.

Wait, why did the brides wear boho wedding attire with no sparkles and flowers in their hair while their guests were asked to wear disco attire?

And why wouldn't they have just raided Jill Abbott's closet full of work wear ensembles from that time period?
