Teriah have planned a 1970s-themed wedding for Friday the 13th of May.  Yes Friday the 13th.  I believe it was filmed on April 8th.

If Rey dies, (and I don't know if he dies or leaves town)...
how will Sharon be up to doing a wedding so soon thereafter?

Peter Bergman & Susan Walters were on The Talk today April 18.  No spoilers from them. They said Mealor(Kyle) is coming but gave no details. The Talk always promoting CBS shows.
And as part of the promotion, host Natalie Morales announced that Michael Mealor returns Monday April 25.  I guess that's when Kyle shows up in Genoa City (instead of via video chat from Italy).

Update on Rey:
Just saw clips of Monday 4/18 Canadian (Tues 4/19 US).

Rey is at Crimson Lights with Connor and Chelsea, and they are getting ready to leave for the hockey game in Chicago.  They discuss this with Sharon.  For safety reasons they decide it would be best for Rey/Chelsea/Connor to stay over in a hotel in Chicago, instead of driving back late at night. Sharon agrees with this. Sharon even packs food and coffee for them to take with them.  They are getting ready to leave.  Rey realizes he left the hockey tickets in his other jacket, which is at home.  He decides to drive off alone to go get the tickets. Before he leaves he has playful flirty banter with Sharon. Rey says he'll be right back.
Sharon and Rey exchange I-love-yous and he leaves.

Also on  Monday 4/18 Canadian (Tues 4/19 US).
Victoria tells Ashland she knows he was lying and that she faked it until he signed the agreement to annul their marriage and leave the company, and she gets him to admit he was lying about his illness. He says he still loves her and she says he's still lying, etc etc etc (everything already described in the spoiler write-up earlier in this thread).
She is still in her Newman CEO office. He leaves the room.  She takes the portrait of herself off the wall (the portrait Ashland had given her), and she smashes the portrait angrily.

Then a distraught Victoria drives off in her car.

The special effects seem to indicate that the weather is beginning to get foggy. (There are some white swirls in the air around the car).

Victoria quickly pushes a button on her dashboard to activate a phonecall and says "Call mom's mobile" - a voice command for her car to call her mother.  Victoria has both hands on the wheel as she speaks to Nikki on speakerphone (like in the promo video).  Victoria says she's okay. Then admits that she's disappointed in herself for choosing the wrong men. Nikki can tell Victoria is distraught and tells her to pull over and park the car by the side of the road and that Nikki and Victor will come pick her up.
But before she can pull over, a bright light shines (presumably someone's headlights) and Victoria's car crash begins, and the episode ends.  It looks to me like someone was going to hit her head on. She leans to the side as the crash happens.

There was nothing that would indicate Rey gets in an accident - if you didn't know.  But we know Jordi leaves this week or next week, so the anvils seemed very apparent. They made a point of Rey driving off just before Victoria gets in her accident.

I think that might be Sharon and Rey's final scene together (unless they have a hospital scene or whatever). What a waste.

If you didn't know Jordi was leaving, you'd think that the show was setting up the affair with Rey and Chelsea beginning to get closer on their overnight trip to Chicago with Connor.  But I don't think Rey ever gets to Chicago.

Oddly, even though I generally get a heads up of who will be appearing on The Talk days before they appear, neither show promotes the appearance until hours before. A day before if we're lucky. I inquired about this and they really want to put the snooze button on promoting it. I guess it works out for them that way.

A perfect day for the Genoa City Slasher to make his/her debut!

And why in God's name are Teriah gonna subject everyone to a '70's-themed wedding?  Like, who wants to attend THAT [!@#$%^&*]?

LOL!!  Now I REALLY wish there was a Genoa City Slasher coming.  Anything to take away the stench of a '70's-themed nuptials.

I'm joking. I'm not implying the show is celebrating its anniversary anytime soon (that'll happen next year March). The 50th anniversary of one show is bigger than the 35th anniversary of another. Obviously, with COVID still being a factor, the more elaborate anniversary coverage is not possible yet but don't believe for a minute that B&B won't go big (bigger) for its 40th (when it reaches that number in 2027).

Oh, well.  Maybe Tessa and Mariah will walk down the aisle to "Bless the Beasts and Children."

Yeah, I'm sure we're all waiting on the edge of our seats for Liam and Steffy's fourth wedding aboard Spencer Galactic's newest rocketship.

    • 5-12   Well, as much as i've been enjoying the highs of BTG, I guess I should try to play catch up on my other soaps...lol.   I actually liked this episode. But I guess it could be because I felt there was a lot going on. Bill and Liam's talk. Luna attempting them inroads with Finn. Steffy comforting Hope over Liam. Sheila thanking Bill for helping Luna. Even a decent cliffhanger with Steffy walking in on Luna and Finn.   I know I said it before, but I don't care for the Liam storyline, but the acting has been good.
    • I enjoyed Santa Barbara from the beginning. Mainly because it was so fresh and different than the P&G soaps I was used to watching.  But there is no denying that it did not hit its stride until 1985. The writing, casting and production all finally came together. Unfortunately backstage drama then slowly destroyed the show and for me from 1988 onward it was a completely different show than the one I was a fan of.
    • Oh, really? That explains why the reveal episodes...the majority of which Zimmerman did the breakdowns for...hit perfectly. Cool! I really loved that. Background music and all.
    • I guess I should appreciate Clifton's devotion to his craft, but this comes off as so pretentious. Nothing about Liam's story (or B&B, for that matter) is high art.
    • To me the product placement normalizes these folks. Your bound to see household products around no matter how immaculate someone's house may be.  I was just thinking about her as Yvonne on AMC. Yeah, would love to see her.
    • There's also the soap opera conundrum: once characters get everything they want, they tend to stagnate. Nola got everything she wanted. One of the things that was really interesting about her was that tremendous need for things out of her grasp. Once that was resolved, there wasn't much left for her to play. Maybe Long could have found something to replace that, but since she wasn't created by Long, she probably preferred to focus on the needy character she created: Reva. They were still significant stockholders. They could have punched back. Vanessa forced to team with the brother she resents. I can see it working.
    • She could have easily tied them into the Cottage Mystery...(they could have easily explained going on adventures with Bea, babysitting) The house that Tony and Annabelle lived in could have been the coachhouse of the property that Qualo and Henry live in, or at the very least Nola would have been totally in on ghosts and secrets of her brother's house. But they kind of just sat around for months.  The clip of Van and Billy's impromptu wedding shows how sidelined Nola and Quint became...Nola isn't even around butting in on them getting married, its all Reva (though it is a more interesting Reva where Mindy and her or going at it and insulting each other..THAT Reva was fun.)  I loved it when those two would go at it. Somehow they could have resurrected that antogonistic relationship and not have Billy worshing at the throne of Reva.  When they brought JC back on recurring they should have had him at least warn Annie about Jeva pulling her down..."Darlin' I love my brother, but when he has ole Reva in his sites he will drop any woman to try to win her back...and then he will get bored with her...she's like booze is to me and you...he hates it but he needs it..get out while you can!"
    • It's been brought up that Empty Nest was a time slot hit. Here's Empty Nest schedule and seasonal rating in comparison to The Golden Girls. 1988/89: The Golden Girls Saturday 9 pm, 6th. Empty Nest Saturday 9:30 pm, 9th. 1989/90: The Golden Girls Saturday 9 pm, 6th. Empty Nest Saturday 9:30 pm, 9th. 1990/91: The Golden Girls Saturday 9 pm, 10th. Empty Nest Saturday 9:30 pm, 7th. 1991/92: The Golden Girls Saturday 8 pm, 30th (final season). Empty Nest Saturday 9 pm, 22nd.  1992/93: Saturday 9 pm, below the Top 30. 1993/94: Saturday 9 pm, below the Top 30. 1994/95: Saturday 8:30 pm then 8 pm, below the Top 30, and cancelled. Empty Nest 7 season run equaled the parent show The Golden Girls.
