Did Leo and Chad ever interact on the main show?

I hate that they are using what happened on beyond Salem with the main show. I thought carlivati said the two weren't connected.

I'm pretty sure what happened on Beyond Salem is supposed to have happened on the main show, it's just that it can be viewed independently and ties up the storyline within those five episodes. Pretty sure there's been references to it before with Ben/Ciara.

Will, Sonny and Craig talked about Leo's involvement in Beyond Salem's jewel storyline, so I'd say it is indeed canon.
