Cast Member Out before Premiere

There are 6 black cast members. I cant believe how diverse CBS went. I was shocked to see 2 males, but then they went and gave us 3 females

I’m about to watch yesterday show

Same, this season is off to a good start.

Have to say, this is the first year in a long time where I'm rooting for more people than I hate haha! And maybe I'm reaching, but they have a new casting director this season and I must say she did a great job.

Lol! I just saw that same comment on Twitter. I agree with you though. I think it’s the new casting director but they also all the bad fan reaction from the last few seasons.?

I don't watch BB anymore, although I still follow along to a point, but my main takeaway is how offputting it is to have a host pushing their religious views so heavily into the narrative (and I think she now also sends all the contestants Bibles...).

 

I'm glad Xavier won! He deserved it.. But i still think this is the most boring season. I thought ALL-Star was a disgrace and this was a step up it still felt so boring.

I mean people complain about a big alliance dominating the game but it happened again. The Cookout was known to have a winner in their alliance from the beginning and that made it so boring. It just got interesting again when it came down to the cookout members ruining each others game.

But what a shame Derek X didn't got further.

I think one of the unfortunate lessons may have been that misogyny still trumps all.

Big winner Xavier will be appearing on B&B November  8th and 10th.

Have u watched BB24? Kyle got evicted coz he assumed a new Cookout and was labeled a rascist now lol

But Taylor openly states that she won’t vote out a black women.

Big Brother was my favorite show but if that’s how they portray the show from now on then I’m out lol

From what I read his comments went beyond that.

Friend, they were BEYOND that, and he was warned numerous times by the DR that he was veering into racist territory. He chose to not listen, so he got his rightful comeuppance. He stated that they (the remaining WHITE houseguests) should devise an all-white alliance to combat a POC alliance that existed in his head. Meanwhile, Taylor, a BLACK woman, was the target of everyone at one point and got thus far by sheer luck.

Now regarding Taylor @AMCOLTLLover, she said she wouldn't nominate a Black woman. However, she gladly voted Jasmine out. There's a difference. Taylor openly stated that DAY ONE. And why should she nominate a Black woman and lessen the chance of one of them not winning? The one thing that has killed this show has been lack of representation.

We've had 24 seasons and how many Black women won? ZERO. Hell, we just got a Black man winning last year. 

How many Black women have made it to final 2? Once. And that was 20+ years ago and she (Dani Reyes) was horrendously robbed. 

Had the show created an equal playing field years ago (along with casting painfully obvious racists), we wouldn't have these occurrences now.

I also read claims he called the various POC housemates loud or aggressive, even when they did nothing or said nothing out of turn.

I haven't watched, and I mostly just follow boards out of habit. I'm not surprised BB is making a white guy a martyr against the scary dark-skinned people. That's what they do best.
