Linda Dano joins Days as recast Vivian

I had a feeling Louise Sorel didn't want to do it because of travel/pandemic. I'm definitely curious to see Dano in the role. I think she might surprise us. I'm hopeful.

 

But lord THAT HAIR. Why?

The SOD pic? I like it! It's different than what she has been sporting for DECADES. I could see why she'd want a change.

 

But if you think the bob is something, I once saw a pic of her on some Rockford Files blog, from an episode she had a role in, and she had longer, shoulder-length hair. Looked good on her, but it was jarring.

I think she looks fine, although it reminds me a lot of Jane Elliot's early '90s style.

Never say never because I believe I may have to tune in.  I loathe moRon but Linda Dano!!!!  And the story involves black characters who actually have a stake in the story.  How often does that happen?

lol ok. It's not the cut. It's the flat look of it. Does her no favors. I think she looks fantastic but the hair does her no favors, SORRY. I won't cut it out. Fabulous Dano deserves better.

 

I'm actually excited to see her as Vivian.

That style she had right before she left the first time, the page boy...I would have slept with Liza too.  It haunts me to this day.

 

Dano looks great.  And is a perfect example of a star that still has some sparkle and should be on a soap.

I can see Jane flipping it out of her face as soon as I read this, running her hand along it to smooth it out before destroying Jenny Eckert.
