RIP!!! The Rifleman has long been my favorite western, and the father-son chemistry between Chuck and Johnny was so strong and heartwarming. I hope they are reunited.

While she was wonderful in, and won a deserved Oscar for, "Moonstruck", I will always remember her best for her performance as Clairee in "Steel Magnolias"

Apparently there was some confusion as there was a tweet sent out from Kitaen's twitter account less than 24 hours ago? RIP. Nobody with access to MTV in the late 80s can forget those images of her in those music videos by Whitesnake.

I don't know how they knew each other, but Tawny and Jess Walton are/were longtime friends. 

 

She seemed an easygoing soul with a great sense of humour about herself. Condolences to her family, 59 is far too young to die. May her memory be a blessing.
