Members Contessa Donatella
Richard Chamberlain & Wesley Eure were together for about a year. It's said that he broke Eure's heart when he fell in love with another man. I just can't stop thinking what an amazingly good looking couple the two of them must have been. Members Vee
Chamberlain and Kilmer are both huge blows. I'm so glad Chamberlain got one last turn in Twin Peaks Season 3, and that Kilmer knew how much he was valued in his time - not just in his cameo in Top Gun: Maverick, but for so much of his works. I grew up with him in Willow, among other things like Heat. I highly recommend seeing Kilmer in Shane Black's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, probably his last great performance opposite Robert Downey Jr. just pre-Iron Man.

Members janea4old
Wesley Eure was on DAYS 1974-1981. In 2009, Wesley Eure came out in "After Elton". Eure said that while he was on DAYS, he'd been involved with Richard Chamberlain. They double dated with Patty Weaver and her husband, and the cast and crew knew. Eure said that after they broke up, he was crying in his DAYS dressing room. https://web.archive.org/web/20130131073921/http://www.afterelton.com/people/2009/6/wesleyeure?page=0%2C2 Richard Chamberlain starred in King Solomon's Mines (1985) as "Allan Quatermain" (two L's in Allan, no "e" on end of Quartermain). Same name as the character in the 1885 novel upon which the movie was based. The movie was released one hundred years after the novel. Chamberlain also starred in the sequel movie "Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold" (1986). In that second film, actor Martin Rabbett appeared as Robeson Quatermain. Martin Rabbett became Richard Chamberlain's longterm life love/partner. March 30, 2025: Here is a new detailed article by the "Today Show" about their relationship, which includes a statement from Rabbett about Chamberlain's passing. This article contains much more than what was in the initial Variety obituary. https://www.today.com/popculture/richard-chamberlain-martin-rabbett-partner-rcna198775 Edited April 3 by janea4old

Members DRW50
Thanks. Hadn't heard of his passing. Poetry in Motion is such a dippy, sweet song. The "whoa...whoa whoa whoa whoa..." stayed with me. "It Keeps Right On A Hurtin'" may be the song I liked most of his (of the few I heard). Very effective melody and vocal performance.

Members applcin
R.I.P. Jay North, best remembered as the star of tv's "Dennis The Menace." Admittedly, it wasn't really a show I ever wanted to watch and, after I saw him interviewed about how miserable he was and abused throughout by a nasty aunt, I had even less desire to watch. He went through some dark times but he did end up turning his life around and being happy. https://www.tmz.com/2025/04/06/dennis-the-menace-jay-north-dead/

Members Bright Eyes
Actor Nicky Katt has passed away, aged 54. https://variety.com/2025/film/news/nicky-katt-dead-boston-public-1236368189/ I've seen Dazed and Confused, but I mostly remember him from Boston Public, which is a show I thought made me so adult when I fell in love with it in 7th/8th grade. I think the show needs a re-watch with adult eyes from me. It's concerning that no cause of death was given, but I hope his soul can now rest well.

Members DRW50
I know Jean best for her work in Doctor Who, especially the fascinating Sara Kingdom, very of her time and ahead of her time. I hope more of her episodes are found to honor her. Jean also graciously returned later in life to record some audios for Big Finish. @I Am A Swede I know this is a tough one for you.
Members Vee Posted yesterday at 12:45 AM Members Share Posted yesterday at 12:45 AM I know Jean Marsh best for playing the evil Queen Bavmorda in Willow - she traumatized me as a child! But she was so great, such a voice, and had two immortal roles in Doctor Who, particularly the ever-enigmatic Sara Kingdom. What a career. She'll be missed.
