No lies here.

I'd love for them to just have Jennifer wake up and have the last year be her dream. We've gone through worse on this show being washed away (everyone's alive on Salem spelled backwards! Will's not dead! Jack didn't really donate his organs!) so ... but they've mostly dropped it anyway so they'll probably just ignore it. It never needed to happen. And it could have been done WAY better.

Can we back up the Brinks truck and give Lorraine Broderick another shot at DAYS? She's probably content on the writing staff, however. I guess we can give Quan a chance doing the solo HW thing. I'd pair Lorraine and Quan. Put Ron on the writing staff as a dialogue writer. (Or he can go to Y&R and camp it up over there)

Exactly. While it's always controversial for obvious reasons to have a character try to commit suicide (and obviously DAYS will likely not exactly handle it with great care), it makes perfect sense for Maggie to attempt this. Not only is her life is essentially in the shitter due to what she at least right now believes is due to her own actions, she's wrecked her daughters life and killed her own grandchild.

This whole ordeal for Maggie has been portrayed terribly. We saw no journey from her confession to her imprisonment. One day, she's suddenly in the prison visiting room chatting it up with Julie, Will, etc.

It's like when Paul Rauch/B&E wrote for GL in the late 90's and some characters had storylines (Buzz/Jenna, Matt/Vanessa) where half of it took place off-camera. Ridiculous.

Hey everyone,

While I have not gotten any direct requests from American Media, Inc. or Soap Opera Digest, I would like to make clear that magazine scans should not be posted online. At the end of the day, the material shared is how the magazine keeps itself in production. With the material readily available online there is no reason for people to buy the magazine. As a subscriber myself, it defeats the value.

Going forward, if this post is to continue you should all only summarize (in your own words) what you may have seen or read. A link would be better.

Thank you.

I wouldn't mind Lorraine and Quan together.

That said...already not feeling that recast on the lawyer sister. I guess BT for me had more presence or fire. Even with the lines said on today's show I felt BT would had had a little more oomph behind it. New girl was flat.

    • I don’t even know why you responded to the bait.
    • I only watch for Sharon and she’s barely on. The only good thing going at the moment is Jack and Diane scenes and they’ve made Diane such a wuss lately which is making that unbearable to watch too
    • I feel like Earl Hamner and his crew brought in Richard* BECAUSE they knew almost right away that Robert Foxworth was so dull as Chase.  At any event, Richard, IMO, proved to be much more interesting as Angela's chief adversary. (*Or brought him back, depending on whether we're including the original "Vintage Years" pilot).
    • And it will also eventually air S2, which will air its finale in Canada this Thursday, May 15th! https://tvline.com/news/law-and-order-toronto-criminal-intent-season-1-2-the-cw-1235449356/ As an American that has managed to watch it in real time, it's very good. Frankly, I think it's the best of the L&O franchise as of now.
    • You are getting like me. It's getting to the point that without any Damian sightings...it's been the fashion that is holding my interest. And it should not be that way at all.
    • I don't mind Jan either. If anything, they could be using her more to get her daughter's POV. Not to mention her role as one of the Have-Nots.    I also don't mind the local talent. Just look at soaps that were in NY or the shows that film there, they always go for the local talent and we get to find new faves.
    • I'm not going to watch (because...well...that M-dude...lol) but knowing the history between Henry and Roger, I could see Henry wanting to enable Hart to stay independent of Roger. I could even see it as Henry having the last laugh at Roger. Roger hated "the Henry's" of the world, which basically meant anyone who had money and social prominence. Twice Roger swindled Henry out of a chunk of his fortune, so giving some to Hart, who hates his father, is a form of karma.
    • Ashley and Derek have to go- they really throw off the pace of the show.  Today was the first time I fast-forwarded through their scenes. The writing and acting is just bad for both characters.
    • Jon is stuck in a story that isn't popular but with Cady I feel like the issue is that she was clearly thrown in with no real purpose. I still don't understand why she pops up. I recall early on it being said she owned a spa but we've never seen it. That could've been an interesting location for people to meet. She also could've worked better as Smitty's mom, but instead we get this random agent of Dani's who pops up twice a month? A total waste. I mostly agree. I do feel like Jan could be elevated with a name soap actress, someone like Judi Evans or Kassie DePaiva comes to mind, but they're limited to who is in Atlanta. Keeping that in mind I think the current actress is fine.
    • It's great to see. My thoughts might be a little different, but for the most part, I am excited and interested in most of the storylines. Yeah, you're right. This is probably how she (Dani) normally acts. And, I do not like it!  I agree; this is another distraction while she heals her wounds. If I weren't an Eva fan, she helped me root for her even more. As I said a month ago, I hope they take their time with her modeling agency. I would love to see her face a few obstacles before becoming a huge success.
