They are absolutely desperate to kill people in order to scrape together a few bucks. I imagine the evidence showing how many black people have been dying have made them even more eager. 

 

And from some of the replies to the tweet it looks like the government is also shutting down testing soon.

On the one hand, I would have LOVED to have voted for someone like Kamala Harris.  However, after witnessing how this country had treated the Obamas for eight years, I wasn't eager to put another POC -- and a woman, at that -- through that kind of hell.  I'm sorry to say this, but I don't believe most Americans today DESERVE experienced, intelligent leaders who just happen to be not white and/or not male.

Speaking of xenophobes, it would be the height of irony if anti-immigration, Brexit-pushing Tory, Boris Johnson is now forced to rely on a mainly immigrant (and noticeably brown) frontline of medical workers for his recovery from COVID-19.  I'm sure the lesson that is inherent in this will never be learned by Johnson.

Exactly.  I don't trust that the government has done or will do everything it could to contain the coronavirus once and for all, because as far as the Imogene Salingers who control our government are concerned, this virus is killing all the right people.

I must admit that when I heard Boris Johnson was doing better, I shook my fist at the Lord and cried, "WHY??".

Johnson is such a colonialist he probably sees non-white doctors as existing to treat him...

 

You can say Kamala ran a flawed campaign, as many did, but the brutal way she was treated by so many on the right and the left was clearly not about her campaign. I think if she wants to be VP she'd be a very good one, but I'm not sure why she'd even want to put herself through all that at this point. 

As terrible as things have been in NYC, I fear that COVID-19 is really coming for the midwest with a vengeance.  There are grim reports of body bags inventory running out in Michigan, people dying in hospital hallways. And now this.

Oh.. peeshaw. Obama won by 10 million votes, America tolerated him well. You just live in a meth head trailer trash state, so your perception is skewed. If Social media did not exist, most people would never be the wiser about the feelings low class white Americans had about Obama.

This is horrible but the US basically does the same thing. Visit a factory farm sometime and see how the animals are mistreated and the drugs they are pumped with to treat disease.

This article states that most economist seem to agree that the government's aid efforts were too small and arrived too late-- as a result, many businesses have abandoned their workers.
