July 29, 20196 yr Member I like this idea and wonder who else they will feature on future seasons. That's cool that these storylines will complement other storylines on the show. And Days basically has a revolving door when it comes to a lot of characters leaving and returning. This could fill viewers in on what certain characters may be doing before they come back to the show for stints. If Shawn and Belle were ever scheduled to come back for longer stints, it would be cool to see if they had one about what they have been up to off the show. A good one to do would be with Nicole, if they ever decide to have the "real" version of her return. They could show what has happened to her after the explosion when she was away from Salem/believed to be dead. And when Kirsten was pretending to be her. And another one they could show would be Steve/Patch and what he was up to on his time away from Salem. Since SN is coming back. Edited July 29, 20196 yr by xtr
July 29, 20196 yr Member Let me get this straight: DAYS' budget is so undetectable that Ken Corday is suing Sony (that is, when he isn't busy looking for lost change on the beach with his metal detector)...yet they've managed to scrape together enough dough to launch what amounts to a digital spinoff? Really? Edited July 29, 20196 yr by Khan
July 29, 20196 yr Member lol. WTF? Austin gets a webisode spin off? I'd much rather see the scenes they cut from the episodes. Where's my Shelle and Claire webisodes? I want to watch her get better and watch them parent her. Not have them shipped off-screen!

If they ever bring back Claire along with Shawn/Belle, for another and longer stint that would be a good one to do. We could see them sticking by her side as she receives treatment in Bayview. She could even be shown make some friends/building some connections there. Edited July 29, 20196 yr by xtr
July 29, 20196 yr Member I'd rather they launch a service where fans get to watch old episodes for a monthly or yearly fee.

Thankfully though, thanks to a YouTuber, I've been downloading episodes from 1980-something onward ... But I'd kill to see like, 1965-1982 Heck, the amount of subscribers alone could probably fund the issues with music and such and probably even help DAYS out a little Edited July 29, 20196 yr by KMan101
July 29, 20196 yr Member Idk. This sounds like it could be a good idea, but I fear that it also could become a spectacular failure..

It is a good idea, IMO, but this is DAYS and you said it ... I don't really care about what Chabby have been doing (with Austin?? Who Abby tried to mount in 2011/2012?). They've been gone since February. Jennifer went to visit them off-screen. JJ and Jack bring her up constantly. Jennifer talks to her regularly on the phone (and to be fair, they also showed Kate talking to Austin on the phone, which was refreshing). And they're back in the fall for who knows how long? I'd much rather they focus on other characters, but I can see why they picked them. But there's a slew of characters who get little focus and would be nice to see more of in webisodes. It's a good idea, in theory ... Edited July 29, 20196 yr by KMan101

It would also be awesome if they brought back past characters and featured them in these webisodes. Sadly, Don can never come back from mailing that letter, but I always wonder if Neil will ever be done seeing all those patients lol. Edited July 29, 20196 yr by AbcNbc247

July 29, 20196 yr Member Maybe this is there way of softly moving the show onto the app once it potentially gets cancelled from NBC? I may tune in if they're short enough.
July 29, 20196 yr Member As long as Josh Taylor can help put up a black curtain backdrop and hold a flashlight on the talent, this show will live on FOREVER. (P.S. Taylor will get free golf balls as compensation from Corday)
