  It's been reported by several sources that Tonya Lee Williams who played Olivia was out of the country, therefore unavailable.  SMH.

I’ve never fully bought the story for Tonya not returning. Her son has been around for a year and just got recast...why did they make it sound so open and shut? If she truly was someone they wanted back why not leave it open ended? “She’s out of the country BUT we’re discussing a return at a later date.” That would make a lot more sense than what they actually said. Of course since Tonya has no social media presence we can’t gauge how true their statements are.

So they say. If they got Rowell, I imagine they did call Williams. But they could have tried to use her later or somewhere else. I was the one on Twitter who asked where Tonya was and Anjelica replied to me that they tried and she was unavailable. It came off like she was annoyed someone asked the question.

The facts are that since they had brought on Nate and let him flounder for most of a year, Tonya should had been called ANYWAY. That she wasn't contacted prior and scheduled to appear prior goes to show they aren't truly serious about 

A) Nate's success as a character

B  ) and most importantly, continuing the legacy of the Winters/Barber family.
