Although I kinda miss Lucas and Peyton, I thought the transition into the new characters was well done and I have developed affection for them. I actually don't think Brooke quite works as a romantic lead character the way Peyton did but I understand why they're trying to fit her into that role. I enjoyed Dan and Rachel's half-season return but do wish they had done more with that. And I really missed the over-the-top soapy shenanigans, which they mostly stayed away from, until evil doppelganger Katie showed up -- so much fun! And really great cliffhanger with the double shooting.

And now you go into my least favorite season Season 8...le sigh...

But love all of this. :) So this time jump better than Season 5's time jump?

On MAX, new documentary on Faye Dunaway, FAYE (2024). Just watched it & loved it. May watch it again. She intentionally did something a little bit different on each & every take. I find that amazing. Of course I was terribly interested in NETWORK because of Lin Bolen. Also, I was reminded of a movie I saw long ago that stayed with me but I didn't know its title. Now I do, HURRY SUNDOWN. It contained my introduction to the line, "The blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice." I plan to rewatch it soon.

Have watched this twice. Also rewatched Network & Hurry Sundown,

Quoting myself to say, I just finished it and the final scene ever (won't spoil it) was actually kind of perfect and unexpected.

I swear, I think sometimes we can will things into existence here on SON.

Someone mentioned a while back how Saved by the Bell: The New Class has never been streaming or in syndication and now there’s a live channel of it on Freevee.

Which epic Undertaker/Mankind match is it? Hell in a Cell, Buried Alive, the boiler room match, or another one completely?

Their first match that was ever broadcast. The boiler room brawl was at Summerslam that year.
