Is daytime approaching a dying genre?  All 4 soaps are in a horrible state...unless this is the new norm--declining viewership.  Even it being summer, i.e., teens out of school doesn't seem to matter.

Daytime isn't just dying.  It's dead, and the maggots are eating what's left of the corpse.

Wonder what is up with the mini-nosedive on Tuesday and Friday for most shows?  Friday and Monday used to be the biggest viewing days.  Now they put cliffhangers anywhere during the week and there's no real buildup...

I miss the days of Friday cliffhangers that had you talking/thinking about the show all weekend in anticipation for Monday's episode. Now I just look forward to it being Friday so I have two days coming that I DON'T have to watch. :(

Some questionable facts but it made me giggle, nonetheless.

Hehehe.

I guess it says something that even though Y&R does have vets on display, the writing is not bringing ratings in.
