Members j swift
It does such a disservice to the character of John Abbott. He raised three kids on his own and only fathered two of them? Then again, John was always attracted to the more idiosyncratic ladies (Dina, Jill, and Gloria) so maybe he was a glutton for punishment?
Members vetsoapfan
By the end, TGL looked like it was being filmed behind a barn by high school students with a camera they had swiped from the school's A/V department. Painful.
Members Khan
In a way, though, I feel even MORE sympathy for John, who raised Ashley and Jack and treated him as his own, without ever knowing the truth. You know, I'd love for there to be a twist down the road where someone -- Jack, Ashley or Traci, but someone -- discovers a letter John had written, saying he knew he wasn't Jack and Ashley's bio dad, but kept the truth to himself, because he loved his family too much to put them through that kind of pain. That'd make him a real hero in my eyes, and give him back some dignity after all this.
Members alphanguy74
BTW... Knots Landing would be much easier. It's the record companies that demand such enormous prices for licensing... these songs on Knots are not million selling hit recordings like were aired on WKRP, these are covers sung by Lisa Hartman, and as such, only the publishers of the song would have to be paid.
