I can imagine more heads rolling. The show was tanking in the demos for months and only recently saw some week-to-week improvements. How much longer can they keep Rena Sofer doing nothing?

Dumb decision. 

 

If anything, Rick should be one of the main characters driving story on this show. 

 

I wish JY (and KM too) all the best b/c  soon enough we'll see Rick disappear altogether without a trace...

He'd make a great Chance recast.

Though I'm not surprised as Rick has been absent for awhile (probably due to Jacob Young making his music).

JY is great, but Rick is written as a one note character, kind of like JY's JR was.

He probably started focusing on his music because he's been given nothing since the Myron mess. B&B dumps or marginalizes talented actors (LG, CH, JY,  etc.)  - it's no surprise why I really don't miss the show at all.  Are characters like Lame, SPam, Dope, Count WyNot, Widge, etc. more interesting to write than say Rick, Caroline, Sally2, Deacon, SheDevil, etc.? 

Jacob says he's working on a Lifetime movie.

This show could not find ONE interesting storyline for a handsome Forrester heir who falls for an African American transsexual woman straight out of prison.

“They’re going to root for you all the way. It’s an undying, unwavering love, for sure,” Young says, noting he wants to thank his audience for their “kind words” and support. “I’m pursuing wholeheartedly my other passions, but I’m still around,” he adds.

 

That's why I flove this guy so much.  He is very active in social media reading fan concerns and comments. And he has always been there to answer the questions no matter how critical the comments are.

 

Glad he is doing other TV projects and can't wait to see him in other roles.

I keep saying it time and time again that they dropped the ball when it came to Rick and Maya. Maya being transgendered could've played out frontburner for years. 

 

Sucks now that both characters are literally "talk to" characters.

They ruined the transgender storyline by making her into "Saint Maya" where no one was allowed to say anything bad about her(in general, her as a person).
