one more story about the experience.....here in St. Louis, we saw is at the Galleria Mall. there was a line for a 10am showing, and we were told the 11:05am showing was already half full. people were willing to sit there from the time we got there...9:50am....until that show started. then a school rented out an entire auditorium to show their kids this fim. when we walked out, the line was LONGER than when we walked itn.

Ah nice. STL is my hometown.

I’m waiting until mid-week to watch when crowds here in NYC are less insane.

Yep, from Rock Hill/Webster Groves. Glad to hear the Galleria is still around.

So happy for Ryan Coogler. Now he’ll get the opportunity to do a lot in Hollywood with a $200 million+ opening on his resume.

Can we just talk about the women of Wakanda if anything?

Shuri, Romonda, Nakia, and Okoye were awesome. Finally, we had a Marvel film where the women were equal counterparts if not strong than their male counterparts.

This film is EVERYTHING.

not only seeing a all-female military....but seeing a female GENERAL kicking ass and taking no names.

Crestwood Plaza is gone, right? I haven’t been back since 2001.

I thought Nakia had a great vibe in the casino scene before the fighting. Yeah, it was established she was a spy. But to see her in that mode was sensual sexiness. And I loved her hair.

Speaking of hair...THAT HAIR TOSS!!! :D:D:D Okoye don't want no weave.

I thought Ayo was great in CW with 'Move, or you will be moved,' but Okoye was all that. And the casino scene with her...well...I won't go into it, but she was ferocious...a force of nature...but you also saw her as a girlfriend and it didn't take away from her at all or cause her to not stand her ground when the S&*( got real. Love her.
