CBS sticking with Mal is as depressing as accused rapist Kavanaugh elevation to Supreme Court.  What is wrong with people?

Not really the same stakes...

That doesn't sound like any shows Little has ever written.

I like that we talk about this as if any of it matters. One writer will not change anything on this show.

So he’s replacing Milstein?

Yes.

Lisa De Cazotte no longer listed as supervising producer at YR

Her temporary replacement is Josh Griffith. She wasn't fired. I can't delve into the details, but Lisa wasn't fired & Josh is a temp.

So did Lisa and Beth leave because of abuse by an executive and that executive is being investigated?  Said executive has been conspicuously absent from twitter.

Beth quit because of Mal’s treatment towards her. Lisa is temporarily off the show for a very personal reason; I won’t say more. The show graciously gave her time off and that’s all I’ll ever say about it. Everyone is hoping she’ll be back soon!

Lynn Esme Martin added to YR writing team, wrote today's script.

Lynn is one of very few African American writers from soaps. Leah Laiman/Jean Passanante hired her in final year at AW and brought her over to ATWT where she wrote for a while.

She was a horrible SW at ATWT.

Beth Milstein out as of today's YR credits.

Toups: in your Days summary on page 1, you missed Kathryn Schock joining on March 23.

Funny reading this because as I watched the episode I was shocked at how bad the dialogue was and I looked to see who wrote it and it was Lynn lol. I don’t blame them for giving her another chance, it’s possible she could’ve grown but nope she gotta go.

And it seems they hired her to replace their only other African American writer, Susan Dansby, who hasn't written any scripts in a while.

This is probably the most WTF thing to ever happen with soap writing - Annie Burgstede was listed as Co-HW (below Sara Bibel). 😳  She played Willow on DAYS.  She has a few writing credits but nothing noteworthy.

🤔
