Just saw a commercial for Bull during CBS Sunday Morning and realize the Eliza Dushku story pretty much died and Michael Weatherly paid no price and faced little accountability.

I saw some of Charlotte Kirk's "songs" on Youtube - they amount to porn, really.

I rolled my eyes at the whole "yay girl power we don't need men!!!" campaign over Ocean's 8 last year because of how phony this type of display is, and hearing that a woman got a part in the film solely because of sexual favors tells me I was right.

Anyway...

I think she had some bit part. I actually like Ocean's 8, but everything she's a part of is tainted by association. Those videos are insane. I can't believe she's got Neil Marshall in her clutches.

Maddie Corman is clearly a gifted actress but this subject matter is tough to digest and I'm not sure that even she can pull this off, especially given the fact that she has elected to stay with her husband and, as the review states, she hasn't dramatized any of the reasons that led to her decision to remain with him.

As someone who once tried to help someone write a One Man Show that was going nowhere, I recognize that some projects, one really doesn't know what to do with.

ICAM, DD.

My immediate reaction: "Wait a minute -- she STAYED with the s.o.b.?"

My second reaction (after reading the review): "He never actually molested any children?  Yeah, right!"

And therein, people, lies the problem (at least with me) with this story.

Forget about her ill-advised decision not to dramatize any scenes with her husband.  I don't give a damn about Corman's personal struggle, because I simply cannot fathom any wife and mother -- especially a wife and mother who was herself the victim of sexual harassment, as the review discloses -- allowing her children to remain with a man who indulged in his perverted fantasies online.  I mean, what's to stop him from "graduating" to performing sexual acts on their kids (if he hasn't already)?

I'm sorry, but she could've kept this bullshit to herself, instead of asking people to empathize with her in some ridiculous one-person stage ([!@#$%^&*])show.

I remember Maddie Corman all the way back to All-American Girl in 1994, where she played Margaret Cho's best friend. Has there been any comment from her mother-in-law, Jane Alexander (Tony winner, Emmy winner and Oscar nominee)?

I have no idea whether Jane Alexander has responded but I see that her second husband died in 2017 so it sounds as if she's had some tough personal stuff in the last few years.

HBO used to show a movie that Maddie Corman did with Jennifer Connelly when they were teens. That was the first thing I remember seeing her in.  HBO must've showed that movie consistently for years!

Yes, Ed Sherin. He was a theatre and TV producer who may be best known for his work on the original L&O - where his clout apparently got his stepson and then his wife on the show in various capacities.

Yes!  I don't know why I always think Seventh Heaven is the title of that movie. When I was a little kid, I'd always watch it when it came on cable.  Most of the movie was filmed in New Jersey and there was a lot of markers that were familiar to me.

To be fair though, pretty much every NYC-based working actor pretty much got chances to appear on L&O, in some capacity. I went to school with a few people that became actors and appeared on L&O but yeah, nepotism is rife in the arts & entertainment industry...and the current White House.

Did you see his mugshot? What a scary looking guy he is.

I think was his mugshot projected on the screen of Corman's One Woman show that was pictured in the article.  I didn't take a detailed look at it because what I saw was quite enough.
