Ryan Adams the alt-country singer who used to be married to Mandy Moore, NOT Bryan “Summer of ‘69/Everything I Do (I Do It For You)” Adams. I read Lizzy Goodman’s Meet Me in the Bathroom, and Ryan sounded like a manipulative mess who apparently got one of the Strokes addicted to heroin.

He sounds just as deluded as Bill Cosby does, who in a statement released today declares he feels no remorse and will never feel remorse - as well as comparing himself to political prisoners like MLK, Nelson Mandela and Gandhi. You just can't make this stuff up.

I suppose the music industry is long overdue for a real reckoning. We had Russell Simmons, R. Kelly, and Ryan Adams so far, alongside a couple of lesser-known execs. Certainly nothing on the level of what the film, TV, and news industries have seen:
