I always thought he was underrated as Tony, and got a lot of stick for not being Nick Scotti and for the show having no real idea where to take the character. I do remember him from Y&R and from what I remember he seemed to be saddled with a character that was winding down in activity, it seemed. Members DeeeDee Posted February 15, 2017 Members Share Posted February 15, 2017 That's exactly the case. He was hired to finish Tony's story (which essentially ended when Nick Scotti exited). JB wasn't a bad actor (just limited). The best thing to happen during his tenure was Sabryn FINALLY coming into her own.
