That's a shame. I always thought he was underrated as Tony, and got a lot of stick for not being Nick Scotti and for the show having no real idea where to take the character.

Oh no! This is so sad and only 52, very very sad. May he RIP. May his family and friends be consoled. 

 

I do remember him from Y&R and from what I remember he seemed to be saddled with a character that was winding down in activity, it seemed. In a way, just about all those characters (e.g.Megan) seemed to be on their way down to the backburner soon by then.

That's exactly the case. He was hired to finish Tony's story (which essentially ended when Nick Scotti exited).

 

JB wasn't a bad actor (just limited). The best thing to happen during his tenure was Sabryn FINALLY coming into her own.

 

It's very weird that two (seemingly) healthy 'young' actors (in that part of Y&R's canvas) have now died.

Yeah that one still stuns me more TBH.....especially since it was a sudden heart problem or something?
