For sure, these are Mal Young hirings.  I can't see Pratt writing for anyone who's over 40 (or Black).  

 

Moreover, I'm pleased that Y&R is being specific about these new characters' ethnicities.  If this were DAYS, the casting breakdown would likely read: "must be African-American, Serb-Croatian or registered member of the Meskwaki (Fox) tribe."  Because, they're all the same, you know?

    Just once, I would like to read a call for someone who's White and ugly as hell.  I could just imagine what sort of, erm, "character actors" agents and managers would put up for THAT role.

    Most definitely Neil's parents. And I'm happy for KSJ. It's about time neil gets back story and story that doesn't involve some woman who is too young for him. The Winters family need a matriarch and a patriarch, something I've recently realized that KSJ has no interest in playing.
