June 8, 20169 yr Member I'm not suggesting anyone to replace Phelps OR Pratt. No one deserves to work for a bunch of micro-managing boobs. No one.
June 8, 20169 yr Member I know they have someone already in line for the job but I think they should bring back Edward Scott as EP and a former Y&R writer as its new HW. It will never happen. Edited June 8, 20169 yr by Soapsuds
June 8, 20169 yr Member And even if it were to happen, I guarantee the network and SONY would not allow them to steer Y&R back on track. Edited June 8, 20169 yr by Khan
June 8, 20169 yr Member How unsuccessful has Pratt been, though, numbers-wise? We all hate him but I see a lot of talk about a variety of stories. Or has the bottom fallen out on numbers recently?
June 8, 20169 yr Member And even if it were to happen, I guarantee the network would not allow them to steer Y&R back on track. I hate it. Y&R was number one because it was very different and unique from the rest. The ABC soaps are dead and Days is on hospice I don't understand the attraction the brass developed to go that same route.
June 8, 20169 yr Member Bye, bitch! Bye!!!! Now get rid of Pratt, bring on Alden & Sussman-Morina as co-heads, and bump Mal Young up to the EP position.

Y&R's ratings definitely reached levels not seen in several years between the Marco mess and more recently with Victor's downfall. In spite of the ratings thought remaining steady and be up the criticism has been heavy though especially with this Sharon story which is Y&R's worst story since Skye's volcano death.
June 8, 20169 yr Member How long do you all think Steve Burton will stick around now that Jill is gone?
June 8, 20169 yr Member Usually we'd all jump to 'he's out' but I think there's a chance Big Steve might outlast Jill, for awhile. If not, that money-hungry baked ham will almost certainly gravitate to GH. Frank tried to keep him around in '12, he's obsessed with playing gotcha with CBS, and Steve just loves money. I'm more concerned with whether Stafford/CBS/Sony will try to oust Gina Tognoni, who I think is amazing on Y&R. Edited June 8, 20169 yr by Vee
June 8, 20169 yr Member I'm more concerned with whether Stafford will try to oust Gina Tognoni, who I think is amazing on Y&R. Is there an actual demand for Stafford to even return? Does anyone want her back? It seems to me there was good riddance to Stafford both setside(expect for maybe Josh Morrow) and from CBS/Sony head honchos.

I also can see the incoming team and the network/production company deciding to purge elements of JFP's imprimatur and go back to 'known stars'. But I would love for Gina to stay. June 8, 20169 yr Member How long do you all think Steve Burton will stick around now that Jill is gone? I had forgotten that he is on the show …LOL As for Stafford ….she and her lousy acting can stay at GH.
June 8, 20169 yr Member I'm more concerned with whether Stafford/CBS/Sony will try to oust Gina Tognoni, who I think is amazing on Y&R. Frankly, I think they will. Just as I suspect they will try to oust Steve Burton and maybe even Jason Thompson. I mean, I COULD be wrong (and yes, I probably am) but the network probably sees those (and others) as JFP hires and therefore expendable.
June 8, 20169 yr Member Pratt is still co EP and HW, hopefully JFP takes this medical crap story out with herand get back to Jabot, NE Cosmetic stuff
