It’s that time of year again. Rumor has it that one of the core 4 soaps is about to experience some cast cuts from its bloated cast. No word on when/if this will occur, but I am sure it will get the Interwebs talking.

Everyone knows this is Y&R! They do have a new supervising producer, after all. The question is who?

I've also heard some things. Not at liberty to say much but it is Y&R.

DYAS always cuts people when they change writers

I'm worried some decent actors might get the axe over at Y&R. Or should I be happy they're no longer forced to act out horrible storylines?

Then again, maybe it's DAYS again.

With dena still there i bet its not Days. Could be Y&r or even GH. They need a bus to go over a cliff with about 10 people on board

If it is Y&R, the characters they need to get rid of (Victor, Sage, Jack, Victoria, Billy, Dylan, Nick, Adam) won't get booted. It'll be the younger characters (Summer, Noah, Luca, Marisa) and diverse characters (Neil, Lily, Hilary, Devon) that end up getting the boot. 

It's Days...after renewals they always go through crazy stuff based on negotiations with NBC  Plus, their cast is the largest of the three hour long soaps.

The funny thing is that I feel like GH and DOOL are the ones with bloated casts at the moment.....and it's probably not any one of them.

Truthfully, all four soaps could use some pruning in the cast department.

B&B doesn't even use half the cast they have. 

They all have bloated casts.  Unless its the Baldwin or Ashbys, I don't see YR cutting anyone

the rumor that clb was leaving has circulated a while but i doubt they'd even try to get rid of ck or dg again.
