As revealed today in on-set photos from the cast party at the studio, Brandon Beemer will be taking over the role of Shawn Douglas Brady from Jason Cook in 2016, just as he did ten years ago in 2006.

I liked Beemer in the role so I don't mind. They shouldn't have even bothered with Cook if he wasn't going to stick around.

 

Too bad Kirsten Storms is still at GH though I wouldn't minded seeing her back for a little bit.

Cook is there for 2 months..more than expected although he did do GH but that was recurring too?? I prefer Cook over Beemer….I think Cook has improved as SD….Beemer..eh..

While I prefer Cook to Beemer any day, I like that Shawn Douglas will be around, so Beemer will do.

Cook was on contract at GH.

Beemer sucks. Martha Madison has most chemistry with Jason Cook but whatever

I don't ccare about this character at all but give me Beemer so I can drool. 

 

As fo why Cook is only on for a few months? I asked this question on Twitter a while ago and was told he has a few projects he's currently working on. Days knew that and still wanted him to have as many original faces for 50 as possible.  

Beemer and Madison had no chemistry the last time around so DAYS figured hey, why not, let's try again?
