Mine do the old black light thing all the time and for years they have been convinced I've been a good christian boy because of how well I clean up have words. !@#$%^&*], I do it so often that I'm surprised I still have some LOL. The first time mother caught I was with my full-length mirror and she slapped the out of me then made me start reading the bible from the book of genesis and on until father cam home.

The point I'm trying to make is this: lets hope he had parents like mine so he wouldn't be too embarrassed of this departure.

Late to the party, but this may be a case of be careful what you wish for...

And I am a huge fan of Carlivati. I don't really care what you think of me, I can take the slings and arrows... and I can go against the grain of what is and isn't popular opinion. wink.png

I do hope Ron comes on a show soon, even if it's as an associate writer. Til then, we'll see how Shelly and Jean do in their jobs.

Hell, I remember a time when I would post outlandish things for shits and giggles, much like the one up above, and 5 pages would be added in 15 minutes--Each page being nothing but responses to the childish thing I posted.

Maybe this is a sign that I should stop because it doesn't look normal for a 24 year old to acting that immature.

Oh, for the record, I do think that RC has potential. His ideas are decent IMO but he is the type of writer that needs a strong EP to keep him in check and a strong staff team that fleshes out the material in an organic style. Wasn't that basically the difference between McTavish's first and last AMC stint?

Hey, I don't deny RC had some issues. It's just like Days... something had to be done. I guess my big issue is why go with the tried and true? Maybe this is the time you bring in new blood.

I doubt people are expecting much of anything out of those two. Other than JONNSYBRO, obviously.

To me this is more about a much-needed deflating of an ego, and a reminder to the DC brigades that they do not get everything they want, than some righteous crusade to repair GH.

GH is likely dead with Ron or with those two. So it's pick your poison.

I would rather the job go to bad/sometimes competent writers who don't go around treating fans like [!@#$%^&*] online rather than a bad/sometimes competent writer who spends his time on bizarre fetishes and raging at viewers and soap critics on Twitter.

He deserved to be fired, not just for quality or ratings, but for awful, awful behavior.

He made it personal. Day after day, month after month, year after year.

He got what he deserved.

I'd guess this is more down to Frank than to Ron, so unless ABC forces him to cut people to free up money, they will likely stay.

Maybe without both of "Cartini" around, Frank will finally get over the eons-old grudge against Prospect Park and at least dump Easton and Howarth.

I don't think he has a choice at this point. I think a lot of people are going down, fast.

There was a claim over on PTV that MB led an "actors' coup" over outrage against the writing a couple months ago, and went above FV's head to the network. It wouldn't surprise me.

Passanante at least seems to write for older women, so hopefully this means we'll get to see a lot of Tracy and maybe Laura (Monica and Bobbie I doubt). Hell, someone remember Lesley exists too.

His biggest problem was that he knew what the viewers wanted, but he didn't care. He needed to be shut down. The fans are the bread and butter.

I think they should have canned him when the kiddie quad was in full force. His need to showcase Spencer was just creepy!

    • It feels like the show hired Hank Northrop first and are still deciding what to do with him lol. I don't have a judgement on the character yet, but this non-story (so far) has been happening for at least a month and he's only made 2 appearances lol.
    • I know Anita mentioned that she no longer was investing in the trust, while Leslie had stated that the interest was multiplying at a decent rate... but I do have a feeling she'll wipe through the trust in a short amount of time with the amount of spending she's doing. The show always throws in tiny nuggets of foreshadowing and having Anita's remark and Eva warning her mother not to overdo the spending tells me that Leslie will be blowing through that money eventually.
    • I honestly don't care if Laura is friends with Sonny.  She's been friends with him for decades.  The way she goes about the friendship is stupid.   She has no sense of self-preservation or awareness about the optics of parading her friendship with Sonny around town.  She practically celebrates it.  There's no reason in the world she can't just keep the friendship low key and explain they share a grandchild and frame the relationship that way.  A lot of Laura's choices, like getting into a public fight with Dalton, just make her look silly and like a fairly incompetent mayor. Carly is another PC lady that's starting to look silly.  I know she's explained her plan a lot, but it's still stupid and moving at a glacial pace.  If Joss is 45 by the time her revenge plot unfolds, what's the point?  Just dump Brennen and move on please.
    • On that same note, it's astounding to have mobster Sonny in the same office with Mayor Laura chatting it up about their mutual grandson. Think about the reaction if John Gotti and Mayor Eric Adams had a friendship

?? I guess the Logic behind Sonny & Jason acceptance is like when i saw a documentary where FBI agents said they'd rather deal with the mafia than terrorists or cartels---they're the "lesser of 3 evils". Anyway I'm about 30 years late on this convo.
    • Im confused. Does Jessica know anything about June's relation to Tyrell? At the start of the episode, it seemed like June was gonna slip that he was her son but she caught herself but later in the episode she referred to him as "my boy" and Jessica had no reaction like that wasnt a surprise to her No, Anita was putting money in the account every 6 months but we werent told how much was in it when Leslie became a beneficiary. The show has set it up that it was multiplying based off the interest so that its really worth quite alot now. I dont buy it but thats what they've told us
    • What was the point in Lori's return as Mrs. Max Hollister? That little story never made much sense to me.  Were there plans for a permanent return? Or even a new family with her as the matriarch?
    • I guess it depends on your device.  I can watch CW shows via their website on my Windows PC.
    • Ooooo A Liam episode? I'll watch it later today. They sure are churning the daily episodes out early.
