LOL Scott was such a non-entity, I had to try to remember how he was written out. He was erased from my mind by the time I clicked on the next episode.

I don't know if an unauthorized Lifetime movie would exactly mean much in terms of social commentary on guns right now but perhaps it would have been something nice.

He didn't matter enough for that to be the case with me! Although David seems to have "cooled" it with all that following Scott's death.

I thought the Melrose Place one was really boring.

What did we learn about the cast?
– Josie Bissett wanted Jane to be a bitch
– Thomas Calabro felt that he was a better actor than the rest
– Marcia Cross was the most professional actress
– Laura Leighton wanted to become successful without stepping on anyone's toes
– Amy Locane didn't click with the audience
– Doug Savant desperately wanted Matt to have a kissing scene on screen
– Grant Show was shallow
– Andrew Shue didn't want to be an actor
– Courtney Thorne-Smith suffered after breaking up with Andrew
– Vanessa Williams was fired
– Heather Locklear was a bitch on screen, but the sweetest thing in real life

It's not like we didn't know that before.

And then the obvious mistakes like continuity errors and showing scenes that didn't happen – for example, Laura's first scene did not take place in the courtyard; Josie was shown watching the explosion from the studio, when in reality she was part of the scene; Kimberly didn't tear off a strand of her hair before ripping off her wig; Matt's kissing scene didn't take place on a bench and there was no car approaching the two guys.

Because of copyright reasons they were probably not allowed to re-enact scenes from the original shows and had to twist them somehow by changing the settings and the dialogue.

There were several other "fake" scenes on the 90210 one, like the "Winter Dance" (originally the "Spring Dance") which was incorrectly labeled as the season 1 finale.

They also forgot to mention that besides Brandon, Brenda, Kelly and Dylan dolls, there was also a Donna doll. Strangely enough, "Tori" wasn't even present in that scene in the movie when the PR guy told the cast about the upcoming doll line.

They should have at least included Scott, Cindy and Jim during the scene when they showed the pilot reading with the whole cast at the Spelling mansion. It was weird that only 7 actors were depicted to take part in this, considering the pilot featured a lot more characters.

I suspect we would have had a few withdrawals next year if Israel had won. I don't think many people would relish going to Jerusalem as things stand now. Not to mention it would have been a prime target for terrorist attacks.
    • And they've given us plenty. Sets, outdoor scenes, music licensing, etc. And that was the point of me using DAYS... so. It's obvious the casino set is not intended for long-term use, hence why it's likely it wasn't as evolved as the other community sets, etc.

    • I just had thought of how to save the Perkins family. (Inspired by Rituals) -- What if Marisa Perkins was Augusta Lockridge's sister? Fictionally, they could've both been local girls, one married rich and one married poor. Originally, I was going to suggest that Marisa be Sophia's sister, but then I realized Joe and Kelly would've been first cousins.  Of course, it would've truly inspired Sophia was if Rosa Andrade sister, with Rosa and Santana moving in to help CC raise the kids once Sophia disappeared.  While this could've avoided both gross CC and Santana affairs, the times were not right for a story about intersectional inequity.
    • https://www.instagram.com/p/DJxW5DLJLId/ Another World is my forever favorite soap opera. But it's finale is almost universally hated by its fans. What this is, is an edit where I've deleted everything I didn't like!!!
    • The Perkins family had potential to be a nice alternative to the more dysfunctional Capwells and wackier Lockridges... but I think a few factors did in the family. 1) Recasting of Joe Perkins 2) Bad casting of the Perkins Patriarch, and the one note writing for that character. 3) Lack of antagonistic interaction between the Capwells/Lockridges and Perkins.  (There was no awkwardness between Jade/Ted.. or CC disapproving of his son being friends with that Perkins girl, etc). 4) Wasting of Jade thus wasting the potential of the actress (which was realized on Days of Our Lives).  She had more potential than Laken oddly enough. The only member of the Perkins family that had appeal and a somewhat thought out story arc was Amy.
    • @GymnastGuyThanks for posting the three new Capitol 1985 episodes today. The two labeled March 12, and 13 are misidentified. The March 12 labeled one actually aired November 12 1985 which I figured out because Kenny Rogers' movie Wild Horses aired November 12th and it was announced over the "March 12" Cap credits. In addition, Craig Carlson is listed in the April credits but not the March. Craig left Capitol sometime after July 1985 before he rejoined OLTL in the credits by October 15, 1985; he was replaced on Cap by Radcliffe and Hamner. In these posted episodes Radcliffe/Hamner names appear in the March 85 episodes but not in the April.
