Sounds fun but is it really going to feel or look different than any other episose? The actors get little to no rehearsal time as it is. I hope they block the vet guarantees for this so we don't have to painfully sit through nuKiki stumbling through her lines!

You do realize April Fools Day was yesterday, right? ;)

Seriously, way to rip off Gary Tomlin (OLTL's Live Week, May 2002).

Actually, OLTL's Live Week wound up being awesome, so it's possible this could go well. But knowing Frank and Ron, they're going to put those poor kids from tthe Kiddie Quad on and expect them to perform live. Ain't got no time for that.

Oh. No.

Wait, how is going live supposed to honor GH's anniversary again? I thought GH was always taped. Maybe, if this were GL or SEARCH FOR TOMORROW, it'd make more sense to me.

That article didn't even mention that OLTL did that in 2002 (May 13th-May 17th, 2002, to be exact). Weird. And it went well, too, so it's not like it's something to be ashamed about, either. They actually won their only Emmy for Oustanding Drama at the end of the week, but many cast members didn't go, because they were understandably exhausted.

SFT did a live episode in 1982, supposedly after the tape was lost, although some thought it was a stunt based on what happened in the then- new movie Tootsie. Is that episode on YouTube?

The thing is...? Going live can do some crazy things to actors. I mean, for all we know, someone like Paevey might rise to the challenge...while someone like Tony Geary or Jane Elliot will be left sweating like a whore in church.

Then it proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, there IS a God.

I don't watch this show, but from the terrible things I've seen posters say about it, I'm going to guess that this will be a train wreck.

They could do an all-sock puppet episode and it wouldn't be as trainwreck-worthy.
