In all honesty, I had no clue that Josh Taylor's Chris actually had a successful "supercouple" pairing, but then again, I suppose in comparison to others, it was lukewarm. Just like nowadays, a Rex/Mimi, Daniel/Jennifer, or Max/Stephanie isn't anything to go down in the record books.

I'd say some people remember them. I'd rather they go with a personal preference than try to just name a more popular couple. Would Higley be a better writer if she just said the usual "I loved Bo and Hope/Kim and Shane/etc."?

Marie Cheatham should be brought back to live in the Horton House. The Horton house catches fire after Paige has a show down with JJ, thinking he raped her (it was really Theresa's hot BF who did it). Alice's kitchen is destroyed and the living room suffers extensive smoke damage. The Hortons gather to restore the living room and Marie leads the charge by bringing to the house many articles, pictures and furniture her parents gave her over the years. We hire a new set designer to reinvent the Horton living room, patio and kitchen. Residences are: Jen/JJ/Abby, Marie and her cute cat "Maria" named after Maria von trapp, that other nun who left the convent, Doug/Julie (Doug has to stop traveling because he discovers he has prostate cancer (he gets involved in a campaign with JJ to legalize MJ for pain management) and while he will be cured, his sex life is over leaving Julie to grapple with her own sexual vitality. She will eventually develop a deep friendship with Aiden's dad who comes to town played by Joe Lambie. Marie brings religion back to the house and forces Abby and Jenn to undergo STD screening since they have Ho'd around so much.

Hopefully Days won't screw this up! I'd love to see Joseph Gallison, Robert Cleary, Lisa Trusel , Quinn and a whole bunch more. I know some of them are up there in age but hopefully they can find a way.
