If I were the show, I would have kept Chandler till his contract was up.. and spent those last few months hunting for a perfect recast.. perhaps even have written will out when Chandler's contract was up for a spell so a recast could have been better accepted. I hear the new Adam on Y & R is doing fairly well. the show waited months before recasting because they wanted the right actor for the part.
