January 24, 201511 yr Member OMG, I feel sorry for the actors... ICAM. We knew terrible things were to happen but THIS is unbelievable. I guess at least JEss Walton is looking fierce and getting some mileage out of this dreck.
January 24, 201511 yr Member re-watching this a couple of times....this has got to be a dream.... I do admit I would've loved to see what that scene would be like if Stafford were still here.....
January 24, 201511 yr Member It has to be a dream. If it's not Ashley and Jill better watch out too. Where is Mari Jo Mason when you need her to put another well deserved bullet in Victor?... Edited January 24, 201511 yr by YRfan23

We all know EB is going to rant to the soap press soon. Can't wait to see what he says, because EB keeps it real.
January 25, 201511 yr Member Dream or not, this is NOT Victor Newman and not how anyone would even perceive him if it were a dream. It's just bizarre. Why is Victor so hard to write for? I don't think anybody has gotten him since the Bell team left and I feel like he shouldn't be that difficult to write for. I love Eric Braeden and he gets such crap, but I give him props for dealing with such silly writing the past 10 years.

Why Victor would dream that? & who would dream that about him? I think it's hard to write for an character when the actor don't want him to loose. To me this where HTVictoria would come in handy. Oh Phyllis brain is so scrambled that she now believes that Victor would do that kind of dirty work as opposed to having his lackies do it. Ugh! Dream or not, I do not like this direction.

Well I would assume that Phyllis is the one who actually dreams this cause she probably now believes Victor is responsible for her "craziness" since he had the doctors give her those drugs to wake her up......It's not really that far fetched to dream of Victor doing this since most people do portray him as a monster... That being said I agree that it's probably a pain in the ass to write for Victor.....and i'm even sure most writers have came up with their ideas (whether good or poorly written) on how to take Victor down, yet Braeden probably constantly reminds them that "Victor never loses" and if they don't obey his wishes the he will be out forever....blah blah blah......I think Braeden said that Jack Smith tried to do that to Victor and he thought he was gonna drive him off the show or something.....Remember Jack Smith was involved with Victor getting arrested with the bribery charges, though they were quickly dropped....obviously Braeden got his way then... Bill Bell was the only one who kept Braeden in check as I think he layed into him about his behavior once and how HE will decide what Victor does... Edited January 25, 201511 yr by YRfan23

But my point reminds why now that kind of dream. when He was been called a monster. By the why did he raped that lady he had in a cell. Julie or something like that.

Well My guess is that it's a weird Pratt thing where people are just gonna have weird dreams or fantasies like Days and Passions... I don't think he raped Julia, but he had his lover locked up in the basement and fed him rats...
January 26, 201511 yr Member Y&R used to do dream/fantasies a lot in the 80's especially under Bell. That seemed to cool off a bit by the mid 90's to present though. Edited January 26, 201511 yr by BetterForgotten
January 26, 201511 yr Member This reeks of what he did to both Adam and Jesse on AMC. Reeks of it! I hope it's just a dream. Edited January 26, 201511 yr by Golden Duck

Yes they did...I totally forgot they had some funny/bizarre ones with Brenda Dickson as Jill, and also those ones where David Kimble dreams of Killing Nina and Cricket by reading them to giant rats! LOL
