Unfortunately there aren't two worlds to be divided between. The Quartermaines are Michael, who is mostly tied to Sonny's story, and Tracy, who will likely only interact with him to call him a thug and tell him he has a fat ass. Monica will be offcamera.

There are no lines or complexities on GH. The mob world is essentially the same as everything else on the show now - full of unlikeable, one-dimensional, bored people who dance to the plot.

No, you're right about all of that. But I think I needed to put my point out there - it's not the actor or the character, it's the material and the choices in priority.

I think some of the daily day-to-day writers do try to add some shadings and complexities, and from what I've seen some of those are there in the breakdowns. It even happens in crappy stories like Silas and Nina, where I think ME and Michelle Stafford have been making a genuine effort, especially in the last week - I'm hardly either actor's biggest fan, but I see them trying and I see the daily writers trying too. The problem is any emotional or character beats are never given equal time to be properly heard vs. the overarching plot which fuels them, or vice versa depending on who you ask.

I agree they tried this week. But that being said, Silas and Nina were on, what, all week? Usually "stories" get one or two episodes if we're lucky and then nothing so they've had more time to play things out than other stories do.

Miller will definitely be Jason. It makes no sense to have him as Lucky or Dillon. Jason has more story options, with Liz, with Sam, with Carly, with Franco .... etc. There's zero point to have Dillon back at this point, IMO. Lucky has a few more options but unless Jonathan Jackson told them to F off, I'd imagine they will wait for him, but probably not a lot longer.

When it comes to Valentini and JFP by pets I did not mean air hogs. I meant prima donna behavior. By all accounts he doesn't put up with too much drama. He most def doesn't hide his favorites from our screens that is for sure !

JFP however does put up with prima donna behavior from her favorites.

Where else? Back at the back of the bus.

Understatement. Funny thing is, JER could have a show with twice the cast size and I would feel more confident. And I'm not even a JER fan.
