i think JVD showed he was versatile enough to play good guy Ross on GL and business shark Clint so I could see him as a Jeff recast.

But i would prefer Richard steinmtz (sp?) Even though he played joe jr I think he would fit. And we already know that RS has mad chemistry with JE. Would make a Monica/Jeff/Tracy triangle interesting. (I know RS is about 10-15 years too young but after the Skate 2.0 debacle i can deal with an actor looking a few years too young)

I didn't say he couldn't, point is that's a lot different ages in that group. I believe Jerry is the oldest.

*gasps* Yaaasss!!!!! Queen Kenya on Y&R! But if she was on Y&R, I'd rather a reality show been done behind the scenes instead of onscreen. Most of the drama is behind scenes and Kenya would bring it to the forefront!

The only two soaps that Mark Pinter haven't brought his villian side to are B&B and DOOL. Here are two ideas on how those two soaps could utilize Pinter's talent for playing villians with a lot of layers. On B&B, Mark Pinter as John Forrester, Eric's younger brother, who comes to town to settle his unresolved rivalry with Eric. DOOL could resurrect the long forgotten Steve Olson character in the form of Mark Pinter. That way, on DOOL, Mark could continue playing nasty but his redeeming quality would be his Horton bloodline.

For a recast Stavros, Robert Newman, Walt Willey, Michael Sabatino, and Scott Bryce would be top picks based on their track records for playing similar characters.

I love him for so many reasons, but he has dyslexia, and has publicly said that hour shows are too much dialogue for him to memorize with his learning structure.

I'd love for Julia Barr to come to Y&R for a short stint (she'd never commit long-term to LA based show) to play Cady McClain's character's mother (I'm not even sure if it is an option because I don't follow well enough), but JB and Judy are very friendly off camera, so it could work on that level.

Id make Days Of Our Lives Anne Milbauer (Merdith Scott Lynn) Annie Peters. The daughter of Julie's old foe, Susan Hunter. Id bring Denise Alexander back in the role.

To answer Dr. Neil Curtis' question, Robert Newman hasn't played a character similar to Stavros Cassadine. However, I believe he could pull off a villanous performance. Also, Lorenzo Lamas would be an interesting Stavros. All he has to do is channel his Lance Cumson character from Falcon Crest.

Both Newman and Lamas would be decent recasts for Bo Brady on DOOL.

Oh, what do you think of Ron Raines coming to GH as the resurrected Mikkos Cassadine or better yet a recast of Mike Corbin?

Re Robert Newman

Wasn't Josh Lewis a lot more shadier when first on GL in the early 80's?

And the same for Kirk on Santa Barbara?

What was his role on GH (Prescott) Good or evil?
