Returned? If Olivia were a white actress she would have never left and would have been married to Brad, Jack, Paul, Victor, Tucker, and had a child with at least one. Phyllis is gone but her sister was the show's lead for a year and still around eating the show with her dull stories. I always wanted Olivia and Jack to be paired. At this point, she is exactly what he needs. A woman the audience already knows and so they can stop focusing on his love life. Settle him down. They could even play up a rivalry between step brothers Kyle and Nate. I know this will never happen.

This show could use a core/connected black actress in the over 40's age group. Maybe if she had been around all these years, Neil's revolving door of AA women may not have been quite so appalling to the audience.

Or Christian Keyes, who has popped up in 2-3 of Tyler Perry's godawful plays, along with a boatload of indie Black movies.

I would take Christians Keys looks over Lamann Rucker for the role. He is closer to Shemar Moore.

However, LM would have been perfect as a grey character and rival to Neil. He could have played someone totally new. They should have brought him on as a love interest for Dru when they were toying with Neil and Carmen Mesta. Just for the record, I am still bitter about the death of Thurgood Marshal Travers.

YES! Loving the idea of someone from his old neighborhood just because we know next to nothing about Neil before he showed up on screen. Wouldn't it be something if Neil was in some street gang and sold drugs to help his mother pay bills. He left this friend out to dry and the guy ended up serving time while Neil got his scholarship and a second chance. No one would ever believe that. LOL. But LM plays a cut throat businessman so well and looks so darn good in a suit that I think i prefer the angle of the fraternity brother from his college days. A person of whom Neil was always jealous

Not really. I think it depends on what the role is going to be. If they are going to do a quad then that was a better choice. Neil is already seen as too old for Leslie and Hilary, Barton being older then him would make it even worse. Now if he is going to be Hilary's dad and they were bringing back Olivia then yeah, I would have preferred RA.

I am liking it. He needs to have a son that is an even darker shade of grey to rival Devon for Hilary and, at the least, try to sleep with Lily while succeeding with Abby, Mariah. We will be left to speculate on whether the son is Neil's or not. I intentionally chose a son instead of a daughter because I just know that TPTB wouldn't be able to resist sticking her in Neil's bed too. They come to town because they are attempting to sell their products in Fenmore's.

    • Well before the craziness starts, I just wanted to say that off of this week's promo...I love that show so far stays playing all the beats. And just when you think they forgot about something or someone mentions a loose end here...it circles back around. I love the attention to those plot details. So far.
    • Sadly, it won't.  If anything, it'll convince the donors and others even further that they were right to push Biden out of the election (never mind that Kamala would've been on standby had he been unable to fulfill his duties as president).
    • Interesting..this is more then likely why I found Reva 2.0 boring and annoying..she had everything she wanted...now what else is there but some outside evil person or clones? It also might have been one of the reasons McTavish had Quint have an affair..it made Nola loose her Prince. But unfortunately they didn't do anything with it but made Nola a sad sack whiner. I wish they had her write a book..of course, some tell all which would make everyone pissed at her, especially Van.   Long was desperate to sideline Van into the Lewis hole. They had Van working at Spaulding again in 85 around the time Alan came back. I would love to have had Henry and Van tired of Alex dragging some nobody blond guy and trying to install him as a Spaulding, and fight to get their part of the company back. They could have used Ross to help them and of course, Billy would be p*ssed off that Van wasn't sitting at home and her old sharpness comes out.
    • I hope this shuts down all the book publicity [clickbait gossip] regarding Biden's mental acuity.
    • I’ve always wondered - why did Wayne decide to leave DAYS in 1984? He and Deidre were at the peak of their success, and their on-screen relationship was so iconic. Three years together just feels too short. Was there a specific reason for his departure at that point?
    • re: Damian's wardrobe: Bringing this over from the May spoiler thread, now that it's already aired:   Lily and Damian, Monday May 5 U.S. (Friday May 2 CDN)  they first encounter one another at CL, and then go to the lounge for drinks.

    • March 27, 2025 - GH Sherilyn Wolter (Celia Quartermaine) visited Emma Samms (Holly Sutton Scorpio).  They are friends in real life.
    • Poor Philip. I appreciate how seriously his and Xander’s scenes were taken though. It felt like real drama and not like a big joke. You could actually feel Xander’s pain and anger. It adds another dynamic to the Kiriakis family storylines and I’m looking forward to the effects that this is going to have across the canvas. I can see them weaving Kate and Roman into this storyline as well. And it would be really nice if this somehow helped cause conflict for Stephanie/Alex too, especially because of what Alex did today. With any luck, Stephanie will be furious about it.  And I’m glad that Sarah has Maggie to confide in about her secret. I also liked seeing Steve and Shawn (and their matching jackets

) continue to be on the case. Kevin, revealing everything to them is another interesting turn in this storyline. Plus, it seems the writing has improved for Shawn as well.
