All that scene needs is some animated birds bopping around her head as she talks about spilling the blood of the unbelievers. Unfortunately, I suspect it's just a brief plot device to get her out of town for Teresa Castillo's leave. And how tacky that they made her play this and the baby's death while she was still pregnant. I remember when they were going full tilt with Rafe and Molly last year as Uncle Frank's latest Great White Teen Hope, and T.J. was being presented in a really foul way as the brutish, impulsive thug beating on the poor white boy. I mean, dead fetuses in the fireplace...guys wearing dresses and wigs in order to gaslight hysterical and paranoid women...villains shooting hypodermic needles in the eyes...psychotic, jilted ex-wives lugging dead cats around (and killing nosy dogs)...two doppelgangers running around town and involved in a plot to kill each other's nemeses...seems to me snorting coke off some tramp bitch's cleavage would be the next, logical step. No vision, no real long term stories for the characters, 100 newbies that really serve no purpose, choppy stories, etc. How is that different than what Craptini is doing right now?! Certain characters (Nina) being shoved down the audience's throats and eating the entire hour. Oh and veteran characters being shoved even further into the closet. We'd never see them under Maria. And all the characters on the canvas would sleep around and there would be endless babies, WTD stories, and miscarriages. Plus, I don't want MAB and Michelle on the same show. Those two together would destroy GH. While Ron is doing her darnest to make Nina work, MAB would be 20x's worse. Every story on the canvas would be centered around this one character. Maura West is a pure sensation, I love Dr O, and britt and how they all interconnect with the vets. They have a vision IMO and its paying off. When MAB was at the helm it was horrid the worst offense I ever saw in a show was Shictor it was disgusting and sadistic garbage. All the soap vets MAB brought were miscast. Eden Reigal as heather was a disaster and Maura west got short end of stick and I loathed genie Francis character. Ugh just when I think MAB ugh. I was set on not giving a rats ass about silas' comawife and much to my surprise I come to actually care about Where Nina goes next. As long as she goes anywhere where Siam isnt. Siam is a vortex of suck where story potential goes die. I dont care about robocop and cue-card-reading skills but the scenes Nathan and Nina shared were touching for some reason. I wont credit the writing which is a big let down and i certainly wont care about MS' current co-stars but MS is bringing what i view as a multi-layered performance. I cant compare yr to gh cuz i never really watched that show but jfp has been an offensive ep at the helm of gh for over a decade. And i think you missed the boat about bringing the vets. I think many fans are clamoring for vets from GH not from the entire daytime community. A vet who spent decades on a different show is still a newbie to the world of GH. I love MS as Nina but i understand wwhy so many would rather have the likes of Genie francis or denise alexander heck im sure Roy thinnes would be welcomed back as a vet since he played phil brewer decades ago. The siam/Nina story is a clear example of how NOT introduce a new powerhouse actor to the canvas imho. But thank you for what i see as a well-thought out argument. What was most jarring is that Sam completely forgot about what's going on with Silazzzz and wifey. Yes, these characters s/b multitasking but the plot point sledgehammer is at it again. She was totally focused on the accident and her friendship with Patty. I may have ff it, but did she at least say she needed to take her mind off things?
