I'm not sure this means anything for Esther. Her main role was generally Katherine's maid, foil for Jill. The stories with "Kate" were generally fleeting.

And this means Esther/Kate Linder is probably as good as gone.

It's just as well. To me, Esther worked best as Kay's foil.

It's not really the same situation, as Mac was a big flop with multiple unsuccessful recasts. Esther's a long-running supporting player, and Kate Linder likely comes cheap.

I actually don't think that she will be gone. Like I said earlier, those few episodes a month where she plays comedic foil to Jill is where she has been used anyway. I mean really. She wasn't even allowed to comfort her daughter over her grandchild's death. Come on.

Just as well. As far as recasts go, Cybill Shepherd's Muppet-eyebrowed daughter was about as "bottom of the barrel" as you could get.

Exactly lol. But she was all over it in interviews. And she was practically saying Chloe is JFP's alter ego.

Not disappointed she is leaving. Just surprised.

Oh I really hope this is true. Hopefully Kevin leaves with her. Two less people to fast forward through. I haven't cared for Chloe since 2009, hard to believe she has been there this long.
