I hope that they keep Benjamin as his middle name, although I assume they won't. Brit's place in his birth should not be minimized or trashed completely, if only for Rocco's sake. Our society minimizes the relevance of surrogates. The pain and suffering these women often endure after giving up the child tells a very different story. Actually, our society downplays the pain and grief of all birth mothers. For better or worse, and regardless of how it happened, Brit is Rocco's birth mother, if not his biological mom. For his sake, Dante and Lulu should allow a relationship, or at least a minimal amount of contact and recognition.

No way! Even though, legally, Ben is Britta's kid, she gets no contact once Lante get him.

Britt getting visitation rights is pushing it. And I am a major Britt fan but if the show went there it would be a big joke... oh wait now that i think of it theres no way RC WOULDNT do that.

To be honest it drives me nuts when people talk to others while they're asleep like that in the hospital (at least AJ was as far as Carly knew). Granted it's in character for Carly and it's a soap but regardless. Laura Wright is an entertaining actress and she has talent but she tends to talks way too fast.

Sonny and Olivia's screeching match was painful. It brings out the most grating acting tics possible in Maurice and Lisa. And I don't buy Sonny's love and concern.

Do they really expect people to have sympathy for Britt NOW?! I don't feel sympathy for her or even for Lulu for that matter. DZ/Dante carried those scenes.

Dr. O taking the baby is so predictable. But I enjoy her shenanigans regardless, and the showdown between her and Liz was fun.

If anyone can explain why KeMo has fans I will appreciate. Based on her past two weeks alone i think she is basically uanble to give a high-power performances. She is too low-key (and not in the good way) and hardly seems alive in most of her scenes. Most of the time she is barely awake.

Well when this story happened on Passions and Theresa impersonated the surrogate and ended up losing the Gwen and Ethan's baby while her kid survived she lost rights to her bio kid.

But the issue isn't Brit--it's Ben/Rocco. What is best for him? Then again, Lulu and Dante also didn't care about what was best for Connie/Georgie (I am not sure what her name wound up being). Adoption is supposed to be a last resort. Connie had parents who loved her and wanted her. They never signed the adoption papers, and they only agreed to let Lulu and Dante take her home under duress--Spinelli and Maxie didn't want to hurt them. This is quite common under adoption IRL. And if they had signed, is there any doubt that Lulu and Dante would have closed the adoption and denied Maxie and Spinelli any access at all?

For better or worse, Brit is Ben's birth mother--he needs to know her and know that she loves him. Brit can be prosecuted for stealing the embryos--but when she gets out of prison she should be a part of Rocco's life, at least minimally.

Britt is not Ben's mother. She stole him from his parents. He doesn't need to know her.
