Y&R: TMZ reporting on Michael Muhney

Oh, I doubt it. Just think what will happen if he denies it. ph34r.png Right now, there is still room for people who (desperately )want to disbelieve to do so. If he publicly denies it, I fully believe there will be more leaks and someone in the know might even come to HKK's defense. If MM has any sense he will keep his mouth shut for once. I tend to believe there's a reason he's done that so far.

You have a point. I think that there must be some kind of evidence for Sony to have fired him.

I had heard that something went down on the Veronica Mars set years ago that got him fired, but I figured it was because he thought he should be the star and made things difficult, not that there were rumours of him doing something to Kristen Bell.

I knew there was something off about him, especially when he posted a photo of himself sans pants on either Twitter or Instagram last year. I bet he was a bully, but the show turned the blind eye. I think sexual harrassment can't be overlooked and it was the excuse Sony./CBS was looking for to can him.

Rubbish. Sony/CBS never wanted to fire MM. They just gave him a two year contract. They clearly wanted to keep him on the show despite his rumored behavior.

Well his fans kept saying they wanted the truth and a statement out there LOL. TMZ is pretty accurate. The sad thing is, his stupid fans should've let this die down. By constantly begging for his job back and blaming the people he mistreated, they are drawing too much attention to this and making sure he'll never work in Hollywood again.

If he's done this twice (at VM and Y&R), while also being so publicly arrogant, should he be able to work in Hollywood again?

Muhney's sister apparently posted this on a Facebook page:

"Only Micahel knows the truth"

and then

"There is no truth to the rumors flying around."

LOL, bitch please...

LOL! Thanks for posting that. I love it. "Only Michael knows the truth..." Riiight! "Grace" and "class" guess she does not read his Twittter. He would not know "grace" or "class" if they punched him in the face.

I knew from the shockingly contrite and discreet way Muhney was responding to Nelson Branco that it had to be something big and of his own making. When the story came out, it all made sense.

Sometimes family members (and co-stars) should just be quiet and offer their support privately. Obviously he isn't being honest with them and that is not so unusual. He needs help and won't get it until he's honest.

It amuses me when I see people saying that Doug Davidson is a villain in all of this.

Some of Muhney's fans, like Nellie Oleson, have had it out for Doug Davidson for a while now.

I don't know why, and I really don't care (I kind of wonder if he wasn't thrilled with any of the alleged on-set behavior), but I wonder how long it will be until Nellie brings up that alleged Emmy beatdown yet again.

Doug was the first person from the cast on Twitter to say there was more to the story as to why Muhney was fired and that it wasn't JFP or anyone else on the show's fault. They have it out for MTS, and Eric Braeden for saying similar things as well.

Nelson is a nasty human being, he's part of Muhney's propaganda machine trying to cover this all up when he knew what the allegations against Muhney were and why he was fired.

I remember that, so it led me to wonder if any of Nelson's previous issues with him were tied to any behind the scenes stuff with Muhney.

How incredibly toxic and sick our soap press, and the sets of some of these shows, are now.

I feel sorry for Hunter, as, in this industry, this will probably hurt her career more than Muhney's.

I hate editorializations, which is why I don't EVER do it in my news reports, unless I state it as such (ie. Observation posts). However, I'm going to semi-break our rule on sharing info from other places and say this about this MM news as posted on http://www.celebdirtylaundry.com/2014/the-young-and-the-restless-michael-muhney-hunter-king-breast-groping-fired-0104/:

I’m usually quick to back a harassed woman but this just isn’t adding up so roll with me for a minute here.A perv is a perv, right? Muhney had been working on Y&R for 4 years and there was never any other allegations of sexual harassment before now. He has rolled around, half naked with various costars and they have praised him and are saddened to see him leave the show. Wouldn’t he have been inappropriate with someone else, like years ago? And if he had been he would have been axed then because this kind of suspected behavior cannot exist at work.
Then there’s the timing. Muhney was at the homestretch of his 4 year contract, in fact he was fired about 2 weeks before it ended. That makes me think that Jill and her crew was hesitant to believe the allegations and waited until it was more convenient to fire Muhney, making it seem like they just weren’t interested in re-signing him. Now they are using this unsubstantiated allegation to justify getting rid of the fan favorite. I’m not saying that Hunter King did or didn’t go to the powers that be to complain, but they took certainly their time addressing it if she did complain – which is equally wrong, right?

Report the f'ing news and shut up!

Also, to be clear, Michael signed a new contract in April of last year that would have kept him with the show for 2 years beyond his deal, which ended in June of last year... NOT the end of 2013. Where did that piece of info even come from? As proof, here's his tweet on his own contract renewal from April: https://twitter.com/michaelmuhney/status/327930176392548352

Ugh!

Here's an old Live Journal post back to 2009 with comments mentioning the thing with Kristen Bell: http://ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/35664144.html

It's not like people are just creating that now to make him look worse. That is old news. I just think it's crazy that it is happening again. It shows what a jerk he is. He just doesn't learn. It's crazy that his wife stays with him through all of this.

If I remember correctly, he himself said it was his fault that he got fired which leads me to believe that this is true. Yet people are still taking up for him.

I can understand a healthy amount of pessimism but I think you've lost perspective, Carl. This is the end of the road for Muhney for a good long while. There's a reason his next move after hit cult primetime show Veronica Mars was daytime television. Now daytime won't have him. I'm not sure we make industrial films anymore.

I thing these types of things have been going on since the beginning of Hollywood. If anything, I think it's a good sign that an actress stood up for herself and basically won the battle.

I don't know. Other actors have been accused of sexual harassment and still land jobs. He might as well.

I know what you're saying, but I read a few days ago that supposedly RDJ is trying to get a part for Mel Gibson in an upcoming Avengers film. I think sometimes men in this industry, especially if they are considered "hot" or if they know the right people, can do anything.

I guess I should be happy Hunter King isn't even more of a great evil to some lunatics.
