When people praise this whole Sabrina baby swill because THIS IS A SOAP AND THAT IS WHAT SOAPS DO, I'm reminded again of how toxic Ron's influence is, how easy it is to believe that soaps are cheap parodies, full of idiots jumping through poorly plotted hoops, zero aftermath, zero planning, zero purpose.

Everything about this is plot over character. It's clear that they had no interest in the meat of this story (Robin's return and aftermath) because they really just wanted their precious baby drama and more pointless fakeouts, more stalls and making-it-up-as-we-go-along "twists" that lead to the usual anticlimactic, rushed reveal.
