ATWT: Rosemary Prinz on Irna Phillips: 'She Was The Meanest Bitch On The Planet'

That's offensive and untrue.

I agree. I have worked with numerous actors (mainly in the theater, I admit) who are down to earth people who just happen to act. You can find loopy people in every profession and walk of life, if you scrutinize long enough.

I have found the vast majority (I mean 95%) of the actors I've worked with were professional and grounded very much in reality.

I understand not addressing JFK in the story. It's escapism. We don't want to dwell in real-life drama, just like nobody flat-out mentioned 9/11.

She didn't address it directly either, but she just wanted it addressed somewhat. I can see both sides, but I side a little more with her.

Didn't AMC mention 9/11 directly? I swear I remember Erica having a conversation about it with Kendall or Bianca. Can't swear to it though.

It depends on how she said it. She may have some perspective now and see what Phillips was up against and how a woman had to be that way to get the suits to deal with her. It could be half admiring, half laughing at it all now as in "Geez, Irna was a pain in the ass back in the day wasnt she??" For some reason I read it as Prinz kind of laughing about it now.

Gh didn't mention 911 but if a man wore a suit, he'd have a little flag pin.

I thought it was interesting that ATWT was on when interrupted by the JFK news. It sounded like it was done live then, with the bit about not telling the actors.

Yikes. I know others like Harding Lemay had their problems with Irna, but that was the first time I heard someone who worked with her describe her that bluntly!!!
