OLTL: Is Robin Strasser the weakest of all the actresses who played Dorian?

I barely remember Princi's Dorian so won't comment on that. Robin was never what I would call restrained in the role, but she really never immersed in the camp until they paired Dorian with David IMHO. Then Dorian became half of what was primarily a comedy duo.

I love Strasser as Dorian, even as I'm disappointed by what the character has turned into since being paired with David. I saw very little of Princi's Dorian, but I'm biased against her because she was absolutely god-awful on DAYS. I liked Claire Malis very much, her Dorian was much more vulnerable and low-key. (So low-key that I doubt the character would have lasted very long with her in the role.) I saw a little bit of Pinkerton, and I was very young, but I remember thinking she was scary.

Which role, teplin? I cannot see her (or anyone) being remotely good in the complete bastradization version of Linda Anderson, but with some of the work I've seen of hers as Dorian I've always been interested in seeing her Dr. Kate Winograd.

Yes, it's the Madame DuPrix (Linda Patterson) role I'm referring to. Certainly the writing did her no favors, nor did being in a storyline with two very green young performers, but she played the part as a total cliche from day one. She brought no humanity to it at all.

I have a very vague memory of her as Kate Winograd, but not enough to form an impression.

Neil was never Melissa's father in anyway.

Meant Biologically thats all. Just like Linda. Maggie & Mickey will always be Melissa's parents

I love RS so much. She is Dorian. There is no deny it, but I agree with the OP. MY personal favorite will always be Nancy Pinkerton. It's probably that way because of what the story was back then. Dorian, Mark and crazy jealous Melinda. That was high melodrama. Elaine Princi is a very close second. It's all because she seemed to take the role much more seriously than Strasser which made Dorian more human. I thought she and Ava Haddad had great chemistry as mother and daughter.

I think that Elaine Princi played comedy well and that she played the older woman with younger man (Mark Bretschneider SP
?) MUCH MUCH better than Robin Strasser with Nathan Fillion.

Yes! They were beautiful together! The chemistry was there and I was so sad that Haddad decided to vacate. I loved her predecessor Holly Gagnier though. I don't remember her working with Princi.

Ediited for typos!!!

Graniger worked with RS and her Cassie had an affair with Dorian's guy, Jon Russell. Dorian left. Then HG's Cassie and Sharon Gabet's Melinda became close

I think Laura Bonarrigo's Cassie besides Ava Haddad's worked with Elaine Princi, could be wrong

That is correct
