So PP will continue with AMC and OLTL for 8 more years to come??? Then why are they trying to find a "business model" in order to make sure the shows survive if they have their hands on the property already?

Ummm because they want these shows to turn as large a profit as possible for them? From a business POV it's an investment for them. I am confused as to why you find this confusing. PP still has to pay a license fee--why would they just be happy to run the show at a potential loss?
