And now, Cassandra. I see it all ending with Angie throwing Jesse out of the house, David and Angie kissing (sorry, Black people!), Jesse getting drunk and crashing his car, Jesse dying (again, and this time, for realz), Angie crying, and Debbi taking home another Emmy.

Well, I just received a text from Kunta Kinte, so....

Darnell Williams and Debbi Morgan were the first to sign on to PP TOLN All My Children. Darnell is not going anywhere. Jesse has been dead twice already so it ain't gonna happen anymore and made that clear on his remarriage to Angie when he said "that ain't gonna happen".

As for race relations, what would it look like for a Black woman to throw out a Black man and then go for a White man, putting down the Black man race wise as stereotypical. The AA community loves that the role models of Angie and Jesse , that for better or worse, they stay married and work out problems as they come along in life, ie. Cliff and Claire Huxtable of the Cosby Show.

I don't know if I want an affair to happen because it would likely damage the great dynamic David and Angie have and it's not worth it, but, yes, I definitely think the kiss should happen.

Yes, it would ruin and destroy all the writing the writers have done, to date on both characters. Damage would occur setting the show back.

It's mornings like these that I wish Debbi Morgan was white.

She'd feel the same way if she had to read that nonsense.

Did Jesse and Angie go to marriage/couple counseling after he officially came back from the dead? I mean, he was presumed dead for over twenty years, and both had major life experiences that changed them. Did the show showcase this, or were they instantly thrown back together to satisfy the super couple fanatics?

Are you honestly asking if ABC featured a story where two over-40, minority characters were given a chance to delve into complex emotional issues in a thoughtful, sensible way? Are you really asking that?

To answer, let me point your attention to the first 30 seconds of this...

Nubian god, Jesse, played by the Emmy award winnign Darnel Williams, did that for Angela's good bc he loves her and proves that they are the #1 AA supercouple of ALL time. His real fans know that he only ever acts in her best interest and has never hurt her with a lie.

Two words: Yvonne Caldwell.

I may not post much around here, but I come and lurk everyday just to read the commentary. It's as entertaining as the show sometimes. :D

Ok we all get your position. Emmy winners! Role models to the AA community! Agnes Nixon created! Daytime's answer to the Huxtables! Strong god-fearing and family oriented. Can we move on from clogging up the daily episode discussions with this every day? We have heard you.

Amen. Switch it up or shut it down.

But how else will we know what awards Debbi and Darnell have won?

It's mornings like these that I wish Debbi Morgan was white.

Well in the soon to be published All Her Children 2.0, Agnes Nixon muses about the same thing...

Noo!

I don't like triangles with men in the middle, first of all. Never have except on rare occasions. More importantly, it would greatly benefit both the characters of Zach and Kendall to be in different story orbits after so many of years of bad writing for them as a pairing which equated to bad writing for them individually. After a good long stretch of writing them well individually and apart, if things need to be reexamined then let it be. If not, so be it.

Besides, the majority of AM Kendall's existence was bickering with Greenlee over which one of them loved Ryan more. Even when she was with Zach, she'd drop everything to obsess over all things Rylee. I really don't need to see her fighting another woman over another man.

Well, there are all those rabid faithful Zendall fans out there that want their couple back together again. Same for the Rylee fans too. They are all still out there, for sure.

Well, we don't know the muses of Agnes Nixon. and yes I am a lifetime Angie and Jesse staunch supporter and I am dedicated and loyal Darnell Williams and Debbi Morgan supporter as well.
