Members yr9190
I am looking forward to this as well, but it's going to be tough watching all those people up there talk about Jeanne when there probably will be lots of tears and what not... I'm glad they are giving Katherine a memorial service....sounds like it won't be on air till Late July/early August.... I just wish they would invite Kay Alden back to help right the memorial episode and also include the classic background music which is necessary for a time like this. Members y&r_fan
I'm positive they'll at least use Nadia's Theme.
Members sheilaforever
It's probably the only classic cue they will use. But I'm really impressed by this decision: its a more than welcome surprise to that they do an entire tribute episode. On Memorial day no less which Y&R has often used for storyline purposes. Thumbs up! This is gonna be heartbreaking. John McCook and Doug Davidson knew Jeanne the longest (on-set), so this is gonna be interesting... Members yr9190
I want them so much to play the 70's "Katherine's theme" music they use to play during more of the dramatic scenes involving Katherine. That's the theme that starts at 7:32 during this clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pAqzoJ-ulk

Members Y&RWorldTurner
I didn't realize CBS Sunday Morning did a segment on her. Of course, they're wrong about Katherine being the longest serving character on the show, as that distinction belongs to Jill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jVW2sVzBaQ
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Apparently, this was at the end of today's US episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8h4mkRy5I1A
Members sheilaforever
THE mirror scene. Talk about one of Y&R's most iconic moments. The writing, the directing and most of all Jeanne Cooper did a terrific job.

Members AMCHistory
Wow! They really turned this around fast. Any news if Gina Roma will be there? I know Jeanne and actress that played Gina are very good friends in real life.
