I'll believe it when I see it. For one thing, he still looks about twenty years too young to play the cigar store pre-op formerly known as Ridge.

Until the official word, I'll assume Dan will be free again in six months, like just about every hire at B&B for thirteen years.

I would imagine that this is a Ridge recast, if it's being labeled as top secret. This would be an upgrade in terms of acting.

I'd love to see someone of his talent on PT. There's nothing left on Daytime for him. Dan deserves far greater than KKL and HT, whom I believe gets such kudos because everyone else on BB stinks to high heaven.

I'd imagined he'd be paired with Katie. I can see her ending up with Ridge to get revenge on Brooke. Now that would be a good twist to this story as it would drive Brooke crazy

Nice to hear he will be back to daytime. He just lost his mother a few months ago and her memorial service was just last month. I'm not sure if he should be Ridge, though.

Dan Gauthier's agent wrote on her facebook wall that Gauthier will begin filming at B&B next week in a top secret role. SOD revealed last week to expect B&B to make a huge casting announcement in the upcoming weeks.
