I'll just expand a little and say that it felt like Pine Valley to me. I enjoyed the character interactions. I like the look of the show and the tone. So far, with this first episode, I have nothing to complain about. Not even the fact that Rebecca Taylor is back.

I love me some Ruth Martin but I'm already wanting Evelyn and Joe for no good reason. Joe all calm and her all seething after a bitch fest with Opal over Pete and Celia. I think they'd work great together.

After watching so many times I really had to LOL at that Disney-fied rock guitar music queue as the teens appeared. And yes, I hope we see other parts of the highschool.
