Fun fact for you guys. LaLa Ri is actually my ex boyfriend. We dated during most of the pandemic and when he went to film drag race we didn’t get to talk for a whole month. They did have me record a video for him for Untucked but he got sent home before the message was ever used. We’re still good friends so we kiki about All Stars every week.

That's cool to hear, @Antoyne. Any good gossip on LaLa Ri and Alexis Michelle? Or, was that simply television flirtatation encouraged by production?

I root for Tyra to succeed, but she doesn't make it easy. RuPaul was right to go against the producer's and sponsor's wishes and crown her instead of Raven, but beyond the abuse and mistreatment she's suffered at the hands of the fandom and World of Wonder, her personal issues are still bringing her down. Her latest comeback seemed like she finally figured it out. Too bad, maybe one day.

I don't know who to root for, but I think production is pushing for Jimbo. All Stars this season has been weird. I'm pretty cool as I don't dislike anyone on Drag Race, but it's blantantly obvious they favor Jimbo. Way too many improv and acting challenges and Jimbo tends to excel in those categories. I like Jessica Wild and I tend to gravitate towards queens who are kooky weird.

Actually, Jimbo is kookie too, but it feels like they're pushing for her to win while Kandy Muse and Jessica Wild are the "Rajas" who have already "done had herses" and received 30K each. I guess it's a way for the producers to say: "Thank you so much for your time, so here's $30,000 to make up for it."

And now there's Twitter drama between Heidi n' Closet and Kahanna Montrese. I swear it's so hard to follow up with what they'e really fighting about. And Drag Race fans are eating it up.

My top 3 in order of who I'm rooting for is 1) Jessica Wild 2) Jimbo 3) LaLa Ri ... This season was always Jimbo's to lose, but with her being unable to ever lip-synch efficiently, I believe Kandy Muse will end up winning. Her and Jimbo are certainly Ru's favourites.

    • Okay I can buy that when Brook Lynn was a teen.  Now she knows the child is a boy one would think she'd be slightly suspicious.  Then again, Gio looks nothing like either of them so maybe not lol.
    • I've been behind & just got caught up & the last 3 days were amazing!
    • Yeah.  The hot, poor bad boy with a chip on his shoulder but with a heart of gold was a common soap trope in the 80s

    • That's been an issue with me... the lack of a cohesive 'Have Not' crowd that has focus other than Leslie/Eva.   I would beef up Jan, Mona, Laura, Joey, and few other male characters.. and not just be out to overthrow the Duprees.. but co-existing and broadening the scope of the show since the show is called Beyond the Gates. I think the set up the show has with everything revolving around the Duprees will become predictable especially if they always win.   It would be like Victor Newman on Y & R for 40+ years.. always winning, hardly ever losing.   With MVJ/Guza.. both trained under that mindset... I fear that will happen.   I've always heard from a performer that is playing a character like Leslie/Dana that you have to find the victim/hurt beneath the surface in order to play a villain/villainess... and I think that's why I enjoy watching her.. because she brings so much more to the part than what the writers put on the page.
    • I figure that was really hard for Dom to do. I completely GET why they wrote it the way they did but I wonder if it was necessary. Meanwhile I have 2 really icky ideas in my head. Drew is going to blame Tracy KNOWING it was not her. Dante is going to blame Lulu.  After that, everyone else is going to be mad at Lois.  Tracy is going to double down on wanting to get rid of Sonny. Sonny's going to be more dug in to stay because he now has a new descendant.
    • I can actually buy Brook Lynn being so self-absorbed and incurious that she never thought to question why her mom and grandma were so attached to Gio.
    • It was overkill and the whole narrative Lois was too nice to the orphan kid when he was little, WHAT? Like Emma said no one thinks Gio is a troublemaker that gets 14-year-old kids drunk for fun. That being said, Lulu figured this Gio thing out in episode, but Brook Lynn never once questioned Lois and Gloria's attachment to a child that was the same age as the baby she gave up?  Ever?
    • Thanks for finding that. I may have been thinking of this blog entry.
