I muat say I finally like the beginning of this show. I love the brickering between Mr Cryer & the ADA.

How did Veronica put Wyatt in jail? What is Jeffery talking About??

Oh yeah, while Benny was sleeping he gets a nurse.

I'm surprised it didn't either. However, TP better hopes he maintains/build his audience because a lot of people on via social media complained about how long and dull the scenes were in the premiere. And again, he better hopes that Lee Daniel's Empire flops or runs in an opposite season of HAHN because if not, he's gonna lose his audience. Especially, when they'll see a better scripted and produced AA drama.

I can't wait for Empire! Everything about HAHN is putrid! No writer should be writing a show so poorly. It's a joke!

The real funny part about it, that Tyler Perry swear he's doing something wonderful.

This what happen when black people have no drama on tv. I think I'm still going to watch HAHN & Empire.

Because black people are on tv we're supposed to excuse bad writing, acting, and casting.

I'm about to give up on HAHN before Empire starts because it shows no signs of improvement.

Exactly. And I can understand the logic, because there was a time when the only TV work AA actors could get was on shows such as "Beulah" and "Amos & Andy." As well, I appreciate the struggles many writers and producers continue to face just to get some kind of minority representation on TV, no matter how awful. However, OTOH, I feel like the only way we're going to get shows with better writing and acting is if we demand better -- from them, and from ourselves.

I read not too long in some magazine -- TV Guide, I think? -- that AA households watch more TV on average than their Caucasian counterparts do and that they are more prone to watch these shows "live" than they do online or even on DVR. Surely, that must carry some kind of weight with the networks and production studios -- and if it does, then why not use it to our advantage?

It doesn't hold weight. They want us to watch white drama in the daytime & night. We also a big audience for soaps & look how they do black characters.

That doesn't mean we should settle for only shows that portray us as stereotypes.

I can't believe what Mr. Cryer just did. If your son hit a white man, who hit the black people.

Why the f*ck did Hanna not hit Quincy with that damn bat? And why is she sitting there arguing with a convicted murder/drug dealer about her grandchild when he's glaring at her menacingly?

And that scene with Amanda and Jeffery....closedeyes.jpg

Tyler writes some nutty ass sh*t.... -_-
