There was as an insider on the old Daytime Dish who leaked both shows were canceled months before Logan went on record. That insider wasn't believe but turns out they had lots more details than Logan including Frons getting the boot and FV taking over GH.

Maybe there sources were right at that time. Thing is and I agree with Chris B, I wouldnt be shocked if PP continues to pay that lisence fee. Scuttlebutt is that they are paying in installments. I could see them not wanting to give up and trying every avenue to get these back into production. I also agree that PP seems more invested in the soaps than ABC ever was during Frons' tenure at ABC.

To be fair DC's Jamey scooped AMC's cancellation before Logan. The stunner was both soaps were done and GH would go the following year. That matched what the DD insider said all along. Logan had the info pretty close t deadline which is what it sounds like with this PP situation. I expect we hear next week the announcement.

I think PP is done, and I'm bitter about them screwing up the OLTL reboot so badly, but I don't begrudge those who hold out hope they'll find funding again.

They did it before so who knows. Especially if PP pays the fees in installments during the year, they may continue to pay and look at options. Time will tell as it always does.

Alcoholism and drug addiction go hand and hand. I have experienced people in my family battle it's a horrible disease. There's one thing to disagree with me. I will say I got carried away with the people should move on with their lives. I guess in retrospect if u want to hold out hope for funding or whatever that's your belief and I went overboard. So i have to take ownership of that. It's complete slander when u write something completely utterly false saying I am doing an horrific illegal drug that kills millions a year. It's not even a joke. I had people in my family almost die from this disease. I took extreme offense to this.

They're related but not the same thing. Its not slander. Slander is defaming words that is spoken. By very nature of being on a message board, nothing on here can be considered slander. Also again, she never posted anything as fact. She didnt come out and say you are a drug addict. She said you sounded like you smoked, which in and of itself doesnt even imply addiction. You are overanalyzing and taking things to the extreme
